Most unprofessional with zero customer support. First delivery was damaged due to packing sofas on top of sofas on the delivery lorry so we sent it back. Second delivery turned up and we was told they had been repaired, yet the same delivery men stated they was wrapped the exact same so no one had even looked at them as the damage was still there, so we sent them back again. Third delivery we asked for photos before they attempted delivery as they had wasted 2 full days before. We was sent photos and told they was sat in front of the lady at the Matlock store so we arranged a delivery?. You guessed it they turned up damaged exactly the same and they came from Tamworth not Matlock. So now we were sent photos of a different chair or the opposite side and lied to! Obviously they went back a third time. We then decided to go to the Matlock store and speak to the lady who was dealing with this who offered £300 compensation to keep the £3300 damaged chairs with no repair (joke). We then decided to cancel the order and order different leather on the same chairs so that they couldn?t attempt to deliver the same damaged ones again. We had to wait a long time again for delivery which obviously got extended and they gave us a measly 5% off the new order for 4 days off work and months of being messed about. Which didn?t even cover the cost we had incurred with time off and travelling to the stores repeatedly never mind the hours wasted on the phone. The only good note was on the 4th delivery they used a different firm who took care packing the lorry?s and was exceptionally professional laying covers down etc. DFS need to use more companies like this instead of cramming as many sofas onto a lorry to cut costs which clearly costs more in the long run damaging sofas daily. Honestly I wouldn?t shop there again as not even a phone call from the company after many failed deliveries and each time I had to chase with hours on the phone / travelling to stores. 6 months wasted time, stress and headache with no apologies. Originally ordered on the 10th April delivery on 6 Oct. For clarification we purchased the sofa from the derby store, spent most of the time dealing with Matlock store and was sorted by a manager from near Tamworth so basically passed around. No refund received to date, however I did get some money back as the chairs had come down in price from when I first placed the order to reordering in a different leather

Been to the shops and I have seen that they have good furniture but honestly I wouldn?t recommend. I was so excited to buy from them but my experience after I purchased the sofas is bad. Got two very expensive sofas through the 10% option in July 16th 2023 and we was told as soon as we cleared the balance, they will deliver the sofas. We even told them we would clear the balance by sept 2023 or so and We cleared the balance early oct. The shop has refused to deliver the sofas. They said that there is a note that says do not deliver before 30th of October and sofas to be delivered by 27th November. We never had that discussion with them and all the staff we spoke to has been quite rude, dishonest and not nice. The communication is bad. We keep chasing them for the sofas we have already paid for and we are living in a house with no sofas. Guess what, they expect us to wait till November 2023 for sofas purchased in July. A mistake on there part and no one apologised to us. From the look of things the sofas were not made and what?s annoying in august on the 4th, we tried to change the sofas but a staff from there told us we can?t as the sofas are done and they are being delivered to derby store the following Wednesday. They are very dishonest staff ? both in the derby store and the online staff too.

Knew what I was looking for, asked as I walked through the door. Service was spot on, salesman was very knowledgeable and talked me through everything. Only down side was I didnt get a breakdown of costs and extras.

3 sofas ordered and 2 arm chairs - 2 units came with no holes to screw the feet in to. 1 came with a 2? long dirty mark to the back side.The fitters removed the bolts and fixed them with single wood screws.Promised that service would come out the following day and they still haven?t been 4 weeks later.They failed to deliver the scatter cushions with first delivery. 4 weeks later they tell us that we have to wait in for another day?.. no idea of time. They refused to ship to store.So?? they send poor quality goods, take an age to resolve, shipped short and expect us to work around them.Arrogant as hell - never again.

Dought a sofa from dfs, took five years of cover accidental damage cover. It is four years and damaged without accident. No point of taking cover from them. It will be damaged with out any accident. Very bad condition now.

I will never buy another product from DFS. I ordered three items - two delivered and one not. The two delivered didn't receive the additional finishes requested. I have had to chase the third item up for over a month and struggled to actually get to speak to a human being. The customer service is absolutely appalling. I have been promised calls; people saying they will take ownership and solve the problem - but none can. This organisations customer service is dreadful - avoid at all costs

I have never given a review on Google but people need to know. The worst service and the worst experience with a sofa company ever. No communication and no consistency in what they say. None of them knows what they are doing. I have never seen a company who doesn?t know where their product is! All what we keep being told is just to expect a call within an amount of time but no one turns up. It's been more than 3 months and here we are still in the same problem. A sofa that has been lost, a broken loan sofa and the delivery of the purchased sofa has not taken place yet even though it's at the local store. The deepest degree of frustration. They are not good at all at managing any crisis or helping the customers.

I fully agreed with other recent reviews and recommend people actively avoid this specific store. I am yet to receive my sofa but to date they have managed to mess up providing my details to the finance company, notification that I would be away and uncontactable and did not pass on the details to the finance company, nearly causing them to terminate the finance agreement.There is clearly no checking, reviewing or admin management. Avoid the stress their incompetency will cause you and purchase from elsewhere
