This is one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. Reece went over and above to be helpful - a credit to Go Outdoors. Level of service is very good, the product range is vast and a very well laid out and well lit store. Will definitely return

Wouldn?t replace a pole that broke on its first few uses and then charged me to buy a new replacement pole that also wouldn?t even fit as a replacement without needing to be cut. Terrible customer service.

Great range of clothes, and of course camping gear. Staff are generally really knowledgeable and always take their time when explaining things. Only thing they're missing is a café ?

What can i say? It's a one-stop shop for all your outdoor needs. Camping (car, tent, motor home), walking/hiking, climbing, water sports, fishing, horse riding and cycling. The women's wear is limited compared to the mens and children's wear. The shop can be expensive, especially if you don't have a go outdoors membership card that is £5.00 for 1 year (and if you go often enough, it is well worth it). They do a 10% discount for students with a valid student card this can be used in conjunction with the membership card as well. Overall, it's one of the best GO Outdoors stores i have been to.

Visted Go Outdoors in Derby today, a very large store with a great range of gear but with a very fundamental flaw. Fortunately my son noticed not very pominant signage in the half empty car park that there's a two hour limit on parking. After looking for and trying on the outdoor clothes that we wanted to purchase we wanted to spend more time looking through the fishing tackle, of which they stock a good range. However we really needed much more time to browse and find the items that what we wanted.Well I eventually ended up so stressed out about the time limited parking that I put the shopping basket down and simply walked out without making any purchase, what a frustration and utter waste of time! This totally mared our experience of this otherwise excellent store and ultimately it has cost you literally hundreds of pounds of sales. I will not be returning as we can do without the stress and hassle of dealing with a PCN as a reward for shopping with you.

Had to return some walking boots that started leaking after 11 months of wear, they offered to swap them straight away, no questions asked whatsoever. ( Unlike many other retailers ).I upgraded to a more expensive pair and then received a 15% discount for my loyalty.Exceptional service form the friendliest staff , James, ( The shop Manager ) and Kat in the shoe department. No need to shop anywhere else for Outdoor Gear.Top Marks all round.Kind Regards. I went in to purchase some hiking boots, and I had a great experience. The staff were very informed about brand fittings and suitability. Kat, a member of staff, helped me pick out some new boots and educated me on how walking boots should fit and feel while dealing with three other customers! Another member of staff?I didn't catch her name?gave me advice around purchasing a coat with great knowledge, and she also referred to her own hiking and scrambling experience. It is a great store with great staff to fulfil your camping, outdoor, or hiking needs.

PARKING LIMIT 2 HOURS. We visited on a weekday afternoon and parked down the side of the store, there was plenty of space in the car park. The store was clean and tidy and staff were friendly. A week later I received a parking charge notice for having been there over 2 hours. We had also visited Boots so had been parked for 2h20m. (The car park is shared with Boots, it's a 2 hour limit across both stores). I spoke to the manager of Go Outdoors, he was very helpful. I could prove that I'd been there and he got the charge cancelled in 24 hours. He advised that if you're planning to be there over 2 hours to speak to a member of staff on arrival.

Range of products and pricing is excellent. I only dropped stars off because of the annoying click & collect notifications system, which massively over-informs the customer, literally , every inch of the way (I even got notifications from DHL, who Go Outdoors used for their internal stock transfer movement). That needs sorting - along with the messages I keep getting, telling me I haven?t collected - for days after I actually did!
