I just checked to see if the branch was open, I was pleased to say it was. I have travelled 25 miles as my branch has closed! Only to discover it is not open for counter services, staff are simply directing people to machines. Utter waste of my time. Update your information! Maybe time to change my accounts

Careless, cold and rude staff, shame!For opening a bank account you need to have your documents framed to be accepted!! Speechless!!Btw, please, fire that old Indian woman (still soft word), she was strict and rude!! Disgusting!!

Whatever happened to customer service? Virtually no staff, the automated cheque pay in took five attempts. Machines don't accept First Direct cards.An don't ever try and register a Lasting Power of Attorney if you have high blood pressure.

I wanted to reset my mobile banking on my phone. I was told to wait and was just left for over an hour, no acknowledgement and no one apologised or came to update me. I was seen after 95 minutes and it took less than 10 minutes. They need a quick digital support desk. Loads of the staff seem to be walking around doing nothing and I asked them to tell a manager and they said they were all in a meeting.

It seems other banks in Derby are open until 3pm while virus restrictions are in place, HSBC is 2pm which is enforced with a passion and contempt for customers in my opinion.. Also being the world bank I thought their currency bureau would be open (Natwest, Lloyd's etc. are) but it isnt after queing for 40 min in what looked to be a small que.
