I don?t think I need to say a lot. The other reviews at it all in much more detail. I went to this pharmacy for the first time today. (And the last). I walked in, and nobody acknowledged me. The 2 colleagues just carried on their tasks and literally kept me waiting for a good solid 5 minutes until I made them aware I was there and politely asked for help. Once I got help, the first colleague was friendly, the task was passed onto the second colleague who quite evidently couldn?t wait to go home as she made it quite clear what the time was and what time they close! They weren?t able to help despite me being told earlier in the day they have the medication I required. Highly disappointed and definitely wouldn?t recommend, sadly. ?

Consistently poor service. I used to use Peak Pharmacy, on Burton Road, some years ago before going to Peak Pharmacy on St Peter's Street, which has now sadly closed down. I changed due to poor service and a lack of professionalism (e.g. I was once given the wrong medication and medication required was often not in stock leaving me without). The service at my previous pharmacy (St Peter's Street) was fantastic; professional, friendly, and efficient. Since their closure I thought I would give Peak Pharmacy on Burton Road another try. Unfortunately, they have not improved and have made two mistakes with my last two prescriptions. (1) I was owed medication on the first prescription. When I went in, Sam Clapham (Pharmacy Manager) told me that I had already picked them up. I hadn't. I then went back in and asked for the prescription I was owing. After 30mins, hunting high and low, they eventually found them. As the pharmacist sincerely apologised for their error I thought I would give them one last try. (2) Today, I went in for my prescription and Sam Clapham told me that my medication had been issued and collected. It hadn't. After being made to wait again, the medication somehow mysteriously appeared. It hadn't been picked up after all, as previously stated. The pharmacy manager (Sam Clapham) did not acknowledge her mistake or offer an apology. When I said I would be collecting my prescriptions elsewhere, she simply replied "Okay, thank you. Bye." Showing nonchalance and a complete lack of care. To maintain my health I always order my medication in good time, and expect any pharmacy to simply do their job, showing professionalism, accountability, and a duty of candour. It is clear under the leadership of Sam Clapham, that their operational systems and approach to professionalism are not up to a sufficient standard to serve their community. To put this error into perspective: Say a person required carbamazepine and was told they had already collected it. The person took the pharmacist at their word (because they are the authoritative professional in this hypothetical scenario) and left, without said medication. The person then missed a dose, which triggered a seizure, and died the following day. Would the pharmacist manager be as nonchalant, when asked by the the coroner in court, to justify their negligence?

Staff are friendly ,when you go into the pharmacy, usually very helpful .However ,when home delivery is booked, there is a long wait, and not good when you are waiting for your repeat. But understand this is a problem wide spread. Not good if you waiting a repeat .

Whenever I have been to this chemist to order or collect my husbands prescription there is always a problem. Without fail. They either lose the prescription or they havent got the medication in stock or something else goes wrong. Never once have I managed a straightforward transaction not once. There is always pop music on too loud and, ridiculously in this day and age, they close for lunch!! Can the staff not stagger their lunches? In a busy city centre pharmacy when workers may visit during their own lunch breaks IT IS CLOSED forcing a lot of people to make two visits. How totally thoughtless, badly managed and hopelessly disorganised.
