1. On check-in I was told I must write on a scrap of paper my nationality. I questioned why, and received a vague "to identify you" response. I refused and said the manager could call me and explain why I needed to provide this to check-in. The receptionist said he would not check me in unless I gave this data on a scrap of paper to him. He also asked for my vehicle registration (partially understandable although there is an automated car registration screen on the wall) and my signature. There were zero logical reasons why I had to provide this data to check-in, when I had paid in full beforehand. 2. A receptionist needs to consider his hygiene. On day 2 I walked past him and the odour was palpable (this isn't a personal attack, just a reminder on brilliant basics). 3. Of the three receptionists that were there in my 2 night stay, only 1 smiled/acknowledged my existence as I walked past. 4. The bed was uncomfortable. The zip down the middle to join two singles was like crossing a mountain. 5. Breakfast was nice. The staff in the Oust house pub are great. Scrambled eggs at breakfast was better than the place I typically stay when in Derby.

The room was as clean and tidy as expected from Premier Inn. There was a much needed fan available. The receptionist was amazing in that she was listening and understood my needs. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Positives: The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was clean and spacious. The staff in the restaurant were also extremely friendly and helpful. Negatives: The room had a bad overpowering sewage like odor which we believe was coming from the bathroom. The toilet did not flush properly and the shower had no pressure - was just a mere trickle. We spoke to reception about this after the first night and were told that our room was on the end of the corridor where there has been a sewage smell previously. She also said when everyone is taking a shower the pressure reduces, however everytime we took a shower the pressure was the same. As it was bank holiday no one could check the plumbing and we could not move room, so we had to put up with it for 2 nights. This really did ruin the experience as the smell was very strong, especially at night. The fan in the bathroom also did not work properly. Continental breakfast is limited in comparison to previous premier inns I have stayed at.

We have stayed in a few premier inns round the country this was the worse one, the room temperature was to hot, food was awful not up to standard , was too noisy and the room was dirty the only nice thing was the lady at reception

Unwelcoming Reception Team. Only 3 channels on TV. Reception said they couldn't sort it. Needed an Engineer. Cup in room was chipped. Standards very low here. One Receptionist told me she wanted to leave. I don't want to know that. Access from pub is 3 steps.

As a regular premier inn guest, check-in was the slowest ever experienced. I had with me a parent who uses a walking aid and they had to stand for 20mins while the receptionist did whatever she was doing. Once allocated rooms, we were horrified to find that my parents? accessible room was almost at the furthest point of the hotel. Okay for someone fit pushing a wheelchair but not for someone on foot with mobility issues. Do not accept room 19 if you have mobility issues and need an accessible room. Inquired about an accessible room closer to reception and was allocated room 2! To be fair this had a bath as opposed to a shower but it saved so much pain and discomfort for my parent. The Restaurant was not too busy but we soon realised that only two young ladies, Petra and Kirsty, were serving the whole restaurant and bar. Petra and Kirsty went above and beyond. Smiling and attentive to everyone when they were clearly run off her feet. Petra and Kirsty get the 5 stars!

Room was booked through company as a double but hotel couldn?t change to a twin So we brought our own foldable guest bed! A first for our regular premier inn visits who on the whole have been pretty accommodating Will certainly think twice about booking again with premier inn

Not a bad hotel, it?s premier inn. It is what is. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. They aren?t cleaned though unless you specifically ask. There?s plenty of free parking and you just register your vehicle at reception. Breakfast was excellent. It was cooked to order and not a buffet so it came out fresh. Poached eggs were cooked just right and the usual selection you get in a premier inn was good quality. The restaurant attached was a table table which I had my concerns about at first. Previous experience with table table restaurants have been pretty grim. This one on the other hand was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I had the spicy chicken wings and rump steak then the next night I had the wings again and sirloin steak. Each time the steak was cooked exactly as I requested, was well seasoned and a good cut of meat. My only gripe with the restaurant was the layout. As you stand in the bar you?d never know there was a restaurant there. It?s all hidden away in walled sections and the layout is confusing. If you were just going in there for a drink it doesn?t seem that welcoming as at first sight there?s no where to sit. You have to navigate your way round a maze of sectioned of areas. I would stay at this hotel again.

Staff at hotel reception were friendly, polite and welcoming Even though I?d made an error on my booking the staff quickly rearranged another room with an extra bed to make two singles rather than a double Even coming to find me and my pal in the bar to let us know the room was ready. Going above and beyond. Tasha was front of house dealing with breakfasts. Very friendly great personality and a hard worker keen on customer care (Oasthouse, she is a gem !)

The hotel was close enough to the circuit, well priced, and clean. The food in the adjoinging restaurant was good, well cooked and great value. Car parking was also ideal, and included in the price paid. Would happily stay there again

Excellent service, all team just amaizing. Very clean room and bathroom, and wow, new shower gel. The bed was comfy, too, but in the bedroom was unbelievably hot. I definitely won't be back till September. Massive car park and Lidl next door.

The room temperature stayed over 30 degrees during the night. There is no air conditioning and you can only open the window 2 inches. There was even a winter duvet on the bed! We threw the duvet on the floor and turned the fan on but the heat still made us ill. We were supposed to stay two nights but left after one. Avoid this place in the summer!

Recently stayed in this facility. Upon arrival we were met by the most delightful member of staff named Katrina. Very helpful, utterly professional and just what you needed after a 5 hour drive.\\nThe attached restaurant was also a great support act - good food, beer and staff.
