Massive shout out to Jay and his lovely dental nurse. Super efficient, and very patient. I was very anxious, knowing I was in for a tooth extraction, but I have to say my anxiety quickly diminished, due to the banter and professionalism by both. Many thanks ?? also to the lovely ladies on reception, whom are very friendly.

Having been to many dentists in the past, I was dissatisfied with treatment, and constant teeth issues, I gave up going. I came across Bupa Dental Care (Eckington) and was highly pleased with the care, friendly staff, and most of all Joanne, who wrote me a plan, and assured me every step of the way. Having only 2 visits so far, I am extremely impressed with her skills and work she did on my teeth so far. Thank you Joanne and team, I will never go any where else but Bupa at Eckington.

I joined Bupa Eckington dental practice last summer. It was very difficult to find a dentist that could cater to my individual needs. I needed to find a dentist that could understand my phobia and anxieties surrounding being in a dentist let alone being in close proximity to a dental chair.Reception2 of my molars broke which were repaired by an alternative dentist. Unfortunately the repairs lasted two days. I was mortified and embarrassed, I couldn?t get in to see anyone and was worried about infection. I contacted Bupa and spoke to the most caring and understanding receptionist I have ever met. I forget her name but I know she goes to Bridlington a lot. I couldn?t get an appointment straight away, and I was on the verge of tears. I explained why I was so anxious, without even registering me she advised me of temporary fillings that I could buy at a local pharmacist. The receptionist also explained I could register, I agreed to register but explained my predicament with my phobia. Straight away she suggested Joanne explained she was very patient, caring and reassuring. I thought brilliant. I was sent my appointment.Environment.Arrived at my appointment in which I got to meet the lovely receptionist. She remembered who I was and offered me lots of reassurance as I was feeling very frightened and was close to crying. I felt that she had a very caring nature and offered small talk in a way that was both entertaining and distracting me from fear. The layout in the reception area is very clean. Black sofa style chairs. Various colourful photos on the all. A big screen. Books on the table that caters for adults and children. Toothbrushes for sale situated throughout the reception area. One negative which I suppose you can?t avoid is that you can hear the use of the dental tools in the waiting room. One suggestion to fix this is maybe having some music in the background? Other than that I cannot complain about the aesthetics or fault the reception staff.Dentist and dental nurse.Joanne and Natalie introduced themselves and advised they understand and know about my anxieties. Both were very friendly and approachable. Joanna wanted to understand my needs and preferences and provided me with full autonomy throughout my dental consultation and treatment. I have had extensive dental work completed over the last 10 months in which every visit I am always feeling reassured and feel in safe hands. Even during some parts of the treatment when they can get tricky. Joanne is a true asset to the dental practice and I feel she really needs to be acknowledge for her understanding, caring, empathetic and compassionate nature. Never once have I felt a hindrance or a burden. If I could nominate her for an award of being the best dental phobic dentist I would highly recommend her. She does not have a grin and bear it attitude and she will discuss everything thoroughly with you, this is so you can make an informed educated decision. Natalie is brilliant, and they both make a brilliant and excellent team. Natalie equally shares the same qualities as Joanne. In summary, if you?re irrationally frightened, have trauma from previous dental experiences or like me have dental phobia. I would suggest booking in with Joanne and Natalie.I would like to thank everyone at the practice and would like the managers to acknowledge what brilliant work they do. I think they need to promote themselves more to dental anxiety patients or possibly suggest providing leaflets on what will happen during initial visits and treatments. Thank you so much for everyone?s hard work and effort and patience.

Attended as a new patient and the dental team and reception staff were all so friendly and helpful. Jay the dentist was fantastic and really put me at ease. Am very happy with the treatment receive and would not hesitate to recommend this practice.

Brilliant staff from reception Sue as you walk in to your dentist Jay and hygienist Alex. Also assistances.Make you feel so calm and relaxed. Explaining everything they were doing and needed to be done. Very clean and hygienic building.

Absolutely brilliant. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I?m a very nervous patient and they put me at ease. Honestly didn?t feel a thing when they did the treatment. I would definitely recommend going here.
