Bought a bathroom, was deisgned by the wickes team, far as I was concerned tiles and flooring was included, only to find they wernt, then the guy at store on the day, can?t remember his name, was just unhelpful and argumentative, think he was assistant manager.Then to top it all off, they had designed it wrong and it couldn't be done, had to agree with the plumber a way forward.Items supplied didnt fit etc nobody really wanted to take ownership, store gave you number to ring (customer serivce) then upon speaking to them, they would say have you spoke to store as they should take care of it.Ultimately use a different outfit or go direct to the labour.

i purchased a few items on tuesday for this week, the gentleman who served me(i think Simon)couldn't have been more helpful. my delivery arrived thursday the same week, i received email update through out. really excellent service

Ordered 5 interior doors plus handles in store, agreed delivery date, booked joiner to fit them. On the delivery day received email saying they couldn't deliver all items, delivery driver dropped off 1 door and 5 sets of handles. Received another email saying they are sourcing the rest of the doors. Another email 8 weeks later saying they are in stock then heard nothing again. We contacted them to be told they can't now supply them and we needed to go to the store for refund. Went to the store, and all I can say is the reception we received there matched the complete inadequacy of the whole experience. Will not be shopping here again!

Really bad experience buying a kitchen from Wickes. They measured the kitchen completely wrong and didn't take any ownership of it at all. Gave really bad advice and as soon as I had paid for the kitchen they were nearly impossible to contact and no apology given. Thankful I didnt have them to actually fit the kitchen. The kitchen fitter was brilliant (not working for Wickes) and had to make a lot of adjustments. I wouldn't recommend Wickes to anyone for getting a kitchen. Very overpriced, customer service is poor, and knowledge about kitchen fixtures poor. Very stressful time for us, never again

Helpful staff. Limited in the range of wood stains that we were shopping for, but a well stocked store otherwise.

My friend and I visited yesterday, to purchase a new lock for the door. Staff were very helpful with finding the product we needed, and we're were very friendly and happy at their work

The store itself is OK, but had a nasty experience with online ordering.I bought 7 doors online in July ? it was a great deal, or so I thought.The doors were delivered very quickly and were well-packed: cardboard over the door face, double wrapped in strong polythene and foam covering each corner. I couldn?t get a carpenter to fit the doors immediately so put them in the garage but didn?t remove the packing as I didn?t want to risk damaging them: BIG MISTAKE.When the carpenter unpacked the first door it was badly damaged ? no external signs on the packaging, but the door was unusable. We unpacked the rest and a similar story ? no externally visible damage to the packing, but 4 more doors were damaged. The ?good? 2 had some marks on the face, but at a push would have been OK. It looked like the doors had been damaged BEFORE they were packed.I contacted Wickes, but they pulled the ?30 day returns policy? and refused to acknowledge the damage or do anything about it.So I have learned an expensive lesson ? unpack anything you get delivered as soon as possible, don?t just trust the package being undamaged. Of course, I won't be buying anything expensive from Wickes ever again

Smaller than most wickes stores and dont always have everything you need but on a whole still a decent store for DIY needs
