“I have fond memories of frequently climbing through and sitting inside The Hole when I was much younger, on every visit I made to Ilkeston; sadly I moved to London and consequently regular visits to this national landmark became difficult.\\n\\nI am so glad to be moving back to Derbyshire in the very near future, primarily to be within a reasonable commuting distance to The Hole. I am looking forward to being able to climb through The Hole regularly; unfortunately I am no longer able to sit inside it.\\n\\nMy only wish is that The Hole would be a little bigger.”
