Excellent service every time. They will always approve repairs with you, and are honest with the necessity of those repairs. They take good care of my older than average cars and never judge you for it. They ensure the car is safe and make me aware of possible issues that may come up in the future.
They're very approachable and are friendly when you're waiting in the reception. I highly recommend them for their professionalism and friendliness.

My husband, who is an engineer, has always carried out any necessary work on my cars, but being without the software/leads needed to fix an issue with the DPF filter and my Audi A3 being in ‘limp mode’, we were forced to look for somewhere who had the means. Never again here!! Car dropped off at 8am Saturday and were quoted a half day job at most. They managed to con us into a service by saying it needed servicing before they could address the filter issue. I told my husband it was a con and to pick it up and service it himself and take it back but we decided it would give him a break from doing it. Did not get my car back until Monday, was without it all weekend, I had to borrow a car to be able to get to work and due to not being told it would be Monday until 20 minutes before they closed Saturday evening, my work kit was all in the boot of my car. A phone call to the garage Saturday afternoon resulted in the manager being obnoxious and rude to me. I believe he was under the sad misapprehension that as a woman I knew nothing about my car and he could say what he liked. But I live with an engineer!
The car miraculously threw up ‘lots’ of issues during the service, including two broken rear springs. Manager offered to do this work, as ‘it’ll be an MOT fail’ he told us, ‘and your MOT is due next month’.
Firstly, I find it disturbing that he had gone to the effort of finding out when my MOT was due, effort that would have been better spent on getting my car done on time, and I believe it was another way he planned to try to get more money out of us. If he thinks it’s going there for an MOT he is deluded. Secondly, on receiving my car back it has been thoroughly checked over and there are no broken springs. Sorry guys you picked the wrong people to try to con this time. Avoid this place at all costs, I believe they are paid to ‘find things wrong’ with your car, and the manager would benefit from a course in customer service as his attitude is appalling.

Left waiting for 8 hours to get my car repaired. Wrong part ordered but wasn't their fault according to Kevin Michael Bishop as he likes to be known and was particularly rude. He and his staff ate ice cream behind the counter while I was stranded during hot weather. Not even the offer of a cup of tea which I ended up buying myself. Mr Bishop even threatened to charge me labour after I said I needed the car back due to work commitments which is why I stayed till the end. I could not afford this as I had just taken the car out on finance. Mr Bishop is not a credit to Halfords. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Genuine reviewer.
