“Easy to get round and find what we wanted. Stopped at the cafe and the toasties are lovely but when we got our pudding it hadn’t been warmed, didn’t tell them as they had a very large queue waiting to be served”

“Always lots of bargains on seasonal products. Good selection of cleaning and laundry supplies. Loads of toiletries and some over the counter medicines too. Love the knitting yarn selection but buy it when you see it as it soon goes. They also sell sweets, biscuits breakfast cereals snacks tins and jars of food. Good car park and few minutes walk to the ilkeston train station.”

“Birthday, anniversary, wedding whatever the occasion try this greeting card shop out first. They have a large selection of cards and other celebration items like helium balloons and banners to gift wrapped items for all occasions. My main reason for visiting this shop is price, I don't think they can be beaten anywhere else in town”

“Both headlight bulbs had gone on my car. I went into the store and choose two new ones. I asked the assistant behind the counter if he could fit them for me but also I explained I was concerned that both had gone at the same time. No problem he said we will try one and see if that cures the problem. It did so he fitted the other for me. He was very helpful and full of great advice. The weather was awful and he did it all in the rain. I wish I’d had got his name as he deserves some recognition for outstanding customer service. A credit to Halfords.”

“We have popped in here a few time over the years, sometimes to buy or donate. We have helped them to raise well over a thousand pounds through different events, fund raising and donations etc. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and working for a great cause. I subscribe to there magazine and love the advice given. My wife has picked up a few bargains in here now and then.”

“Sells all the plumbing materials that you would need to do a plumbing job with friendly staff who are helpful. However, I do find them a little expensive compared with other plumbers merchants. Good carpark area for loading ”

“It is the first time I have used this Argos, the staff were friendly and polite, the shop was clean and tidy, I didn't have to wait a long time at all to receive my item.It's located in a relatively small retail park with quote a large carpark, lots of disabled parking.”
