My order (£1000+) was taken in November 2022 and I was promised that the bed frame would arrive in the UK in January. In calling when I heard nothing in January I was told it would arrive by the end of February by the person who originally placed the order. In calling multiple times to follow-up after that, I was told someone would check on my order and call me back but no one ever did. Eventually, when demanding to speak to a manager I was told the company was in receivership and was under new owners. However, the previous owner, the person who took my funds and never placed my order back in November, was still answering the phone in January and February and making false claims about my order. This is frankly fraud and I've approached my credit card company accordingly.

French bed fixing brackets are not lined up properly resulting in the frame being off the screw heads shearing and the bolts bending poor workmanship letting down what could be a good product.

STAY CLEAR!!!Business very unprofessional, feel sorry for staff members having to deal with so much trouble.Had originally ordered a king size bed and only had a double arrive. The Process to get the issue sorted was way too much trouble than it should?ve been.Also been made aware the company are blocking any negative comments which I find unbelievable when the business has been ran the way it has been. Diabolical.

Stay clear from this business. They let all their staff go before Christmas without pay and are now trying to say there are new owners when this is not true. The original owners are still involved and think blocking the negative comments makes everything go away. They are trying to setup again after leaving their old employees without pay and stopping them from getting any redundancy etc and are also replacing staff after making people redundant which is against the law. Please avoid and share this to as many people as possible. It is a shame it has come to this but correct procedures must be followed and these people should not be allowed to run a business and treat people this way.

The Company has gone into liquidation, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING.We paid A LOT of money for a table and it has been a complete nightmare trying to get an update on our order. This explains why. They took our money and have been outright lying to us. We have been told that we now need to go through our bank if we want our money back.Disgraceful. We drove nearly 4 hours to see the table before buying, too.

We've had an absolutely abysmal experience with this company. I ordered a bed at the end of September after being advised on the phone that it was in stock. A few weeks later I was emailed to say the item was damaged so they'd need to provide a replacement. We were offered a temporary bed, but decided due to upheaval and needing to rearrange our schedules for an extra delivery, that wasn't going to work for us, so we said we would just wait for the replacement bed to arrive. We then received no further updates for several weeks. Eventually I grew concerned and contacted the company who promised to call us back and deliver the bed on the 23rd on November. We received no call and of course, no bed. We called again in early December and were advised of a delivery on the 13th December and were promised an email that week to confirm delivery. No email arrived, so I called on Thursday but the person handling our order wasn't available, and was promised a call back that day, which never materialised. I then called on Friday but their offices were closed, so I sent an email, which was not responded to. Finally we called again today only to be told anyone who could help us with the order was "in a meeting". The person who dealt with our order seems to have lied about availability and delivery, as well as then avoiding our attempts at contact. In frustration we have finally cancelled the order as apparently no one knows where the item is, but it'll take two weeks to refund us. It's funny how keen they were to take the money in the first place: they emailed me when I first attempted to place the order, but their website failed at the final stage. Now that they have the money, they seem quite disinterested in delivering the item or in keeping us updated regarding the situation. Very poor customer service, I absolutely recommend you avoid them as this "in stock item" hasn't been delivered for over 10 weeks and they have no idea where it is or when it will be available.

Can't review anything other than communication as we didn't get to experience any other aspect of the business. Ordered a bed which we were told was in stock. That bed was apparently damaged, so they ordered a replacement, and that's when it all started to go wrong as over the following two months they kept making promises which they never followed up on, each time they promised to call us back or send an email with information, they failed to do so. It became a frustrating game of calling them to be given excuses and further promises which were broken. Every delivery date we were promised we scheduled to be at home, only for them to completely neglect to inform us was not going to happen. So much time wasted which could have been avoided only if they kept us informed as they promised.Their managers conveniently happen to be in meetings too busy to speak to customers and whenever I asked for a specific person, I was given a different name of who was actually in charge, conveniently always someone who was either absent or in a meeting. The moving goalposts, the opaqueness and the outright lies finally forced us to cancel the order. As expected, it takes 2 weeks for them to process it, but it took them minutes to charge us in the first place.Terrible business.

Fantastic service, delivered quickly after the order was put in, great communication throughout, the guys who assembled the bed did a great job- very polite and cleaned up everything after they had finished and to top it all, my super king bed looks amazing! Thank you

Two weeks ago I received my two new Ashwell sideboardUnfortunately when I got the big parcels nobody informed me that on all the legs I can expect nails ( 16 in total ) which damaged my floor.I didn?t get any help from the company drivers or there was not warning information that I can expect on the bottom legs sharps nails which damaged my floor. ( I have pictures as my proof )I contacted to the Crown French company by emails, phone calls a few times to complain about my damage floor.The company believes this is not them fault and they won?t give me any compensation for my damaged floor.The last email which I got from the manager :_?As we discussed earlier today, I am wiring to confirm that as the damage to your floor was not caused by our delivery team, we cannot offer any compensation.Kind RegardsDylan Maskew ?_I really can?t believe Crown French company doesn?t care about them clients and them good name.I am unhappy client with damage floor.

Ordered a king-size bed & had a double delivered, as lovely as it is, it wasn't what I ordered & I'm now potentially left without a spare bed for guests, who are due to visit in 2 weeks. Air BnB it is! Most unimpressed...Update - 1 October, the boys delivered an exchange and upon measurements the size was exactly the same as my current bed. On investigation it seems the measurements on the website are incorrect & I was also given the wrong measurements via email from the owner, hence the confusion. A waste of a day off work awaiting delivery which was never needed & a trip for the delivery guys which could have been avoided. Lovely furniture but double check sizings before order!

I would highly recommend this company. The service is excellent; despite delays in shipping which was beyond their control in the current climate, they kept me informed of progress so I was happy to wait. The quality of the Antoinette bedside cabinet is excellent and looks very stylish in place. it was also expertly packaged. Also, the delivery drivers were very pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely stunning furniture,Just received our furniture today, 04/02/22.The furniture is very well made and looks fantastic in our bedroom. We went for the rococo range, and looks fantastic.The service we have received from ordering to being updated when delivery was expected etc was A+.
