Disappointing customer service, very unhelpful.

Went in to politely change my babies highchair, the two ladies that served me were so rude and abrupt, they made me feel so uncomfortable, they got the item from the box ( which is fair enough I know she need to check the item) but then started saying infront of other customers that I?ve used the item which is very embarrassin ( I had used the item of course but it was faulty). Overall just not a nice experience being made to feel like I?d done something wrong, the staff member (older lady names Vicki) especially rude. I?ll be choosing another store next time.

Brilliant customer service today from Tammy in the roselane argos store, we were stressed as couldn't find a bike for our sons birthday( we left it a bit late to go shopping) every one was out of stock, she went above and beyond to help us out and managed to find one we liked for next day delivery! Thank you Tammy! :)

Will give 0 if I could . we order ferniture -delivery was just one option so we need to wait 5 weeks , we need to returne them as very low quality and completly different look on picture the in life.we took them back to shop strait away -customer service said we can not returne them as they need to be collected from our house ! and before that we need call to nr on recive -I said we try but nobody answer phone for 45min so lady call them and I spoke with this service and been informed the is up to menager if we can leave them at shop or not but ofcorse menager didnt agree sowe needed to wait them to be collected wich take another 5 weeks! I also been informed that money will be returned strait away when furniture will be take - which not happen ! I call service and they said its take up to 3-5 days for money to be ruturned . 3 day later check my bank and insted to get full amount of 477£all I get was 186£ so call them again and iv been told the We brough 3 item so we should get 3 payments for each order separetly which not make sense for me as we pay for all item in once ! check my bank day after and money still not there FOR SURE I WILL NEVER BAY ANYTHING FROM THERE.

Large store, tends to be quiet, fair bit of parking and close to a Wickes store and Tesco.

Absolutely shocking service. On 5 or 6 occasions now problems with orders and the staff do not listen. No joined up thinking between stores and website and this meant to be click and collect?? Disgraceful

Husband tried to return an item that was not as described or fit for purpose, we called customer services before making the one hour round trip to return the item to make sure it was returnable, upon arrival to the store the manager wouldn?t come and see/speak to my husband or to inspect the item, the store staff just said it couldn?t be returned because it had been used (it was a bike that had been ridden up and down the road once and we could see it was too small for my husbands daughter as soon as she starting riding it, even though we had followed the age/height guide given on the website when we bought it for her for her birthday) When husband came home again I called customer services a second time to explain that under the consumer rights act 2015 it was technically illegal for the manager to refuse a refund/return. Customer services agreed with this and called the store to explain this to the manager, they however refused to come to the phone, relaying information through another colleague still saying he would not accept the return to his store because the bike was covered in mud and grass. This was an outright lie and we were appalled that it was even said. The bike has white tyres so you could see it had touched the road but they weren?t filthy as implied. We offered to email pictures of the bike to Customer services which we had already disassembled and put back into the box but customer services said it wasn?t necessary and they called the Argos at Sainsbury?s Gratton Way and spoke to the manager there (Ginny) who was incredibly polite and understood completely that it was outrageous that we had been refused the refund/return. We drove back into Barnstaple again to her store and she happily refunded the item for us. We have been loyal customers to the Rose Lane store for many years, spending thousands upon thousands for Christmas birthdays etc. But safe to say we shall be using the Gratton Way Argos from now on, as the manager in the Rose Lane store is rude and uneducated, even though they thought they were following a store policy, they clearly had no knowledge of their rights as a manager or our rights as a buyer.
