Barry Hews Automotive Services is my go to garage in Devon. I?m very invested in my cars & thus very discerning when it comes to garages & mechanics. Barry & his staff have always been excellent (professional, competent, helpful, friendly & knowledgeable). He is exceptionally honest - if it?s not economically sensible to repair something he says so. Altogether an excellent local business.

Service above and beyond the call of duty! We were a couple of weeks into a long trip from Norway to Portugal via UK in our old campervan when we discovered that the air-conditioning wasn't working properly. Barry Hews took the van, sent us for a walk round town, and had it all working again in less than two hours. Fantastic. The ability to take on a job on the fly is rare these days, and shows how service-minded this workshop is. Thanks again!

My wife and I have been using Barry Hews Automotive Services to service our BMW since moving to Barnstaple a couple of years ago. The service that we have received has been first class and Barry and his team are more than helpful. The work carried has been to a high standard and competively priced. I would not consider taking my car to any other garage. I would award the garage more than 5 stars if I could!
