We recently had the bideford rep out to source some tumbled walling stone, he came out to the job and told us it was buff, we thought ourselves it didn?t look buff, but thought he must know. On this he said it had been there 10 years and definitely buff, so we told him to order for the job.
On arrival it looked totally different told the driver it was wrong, driver agreed, had it off anyway to show the customer as they had waited so long for it to come and understandably they did not want it as it didn?t match the existing.
Rang up RGB Bideford only to be told they couldn?t take it back as it was a special order.
Then they agreed to take it back and sell it on, then I got slapped with a £400+ bill for handling. Lost the job and had to pay for the reps bugger up. Not happy. And Not happy with the attitude up the branch.

Deliveries are still arriving promptly during these testing times. Even a special order not normally stocked arrived within 4 days. Excellent service.

Has to be said. I've have the best possible service from RGB during lockdown. I emailed Dan Lock. Who replied quickly to say that my order would be dealt with in a rota system that had been devised to supply goods to customers via their lorry fleet and drivers. It arrived at a given time, all neatly packed on a pallet. Drivers were brilliant.No wonder I've been going to RGB for so many years.

I was impressed with our order - it was processed & delivered much earlier than the estimated date given online as everything was in stock. We received a phone call first thing to notify us of this & it was with us a few days later. Not only was the service great but we also won a £50 farm shop voucher in their support local scheme! This was the first time we have used RGB after searching for local companies & I am sure it will not be the last.
