I was prepared for a small selection of OO model railways but was surprised how good it was. As a bonus I found a difficult to find loco because it is such a small out of the way shop so look out for surprises. The owner is knowledgeable and pleasant. He even gave us a recommendation for a local coffee shop

I love this shop - always has a good range of stock and Dave the owner is super helpful and knowledgeable. I always make sure I stop by here when I'm in Barnstaple.

There are a good selection of model railroad materials, and a small selection of armor and aircraft kits, supplying Tamiya and Italeri to name a few as well a newer focus on wargaming. As an active member and writer in the scale modelling community I feel the selection could be larger when it comes to model kits.

Only problem really is that the shop seems to be closed whenever I go there. Made a special journey on Monday last and it was closed. No mobile phone number to call. Shop phone never gets answered when I call. When I did manage to catch it open last year I really enjoyed talking to the owner and made a good purchase.

The store seems to be closed a lot, but when I do catch it on a good day I enjoy a good browse.
