I have always been treated very well. Always been called Sir,until I point out its really not needed. Yes,they do ask if you have looked at this or that because its cheaper with them but thats only because they like to point out that your paying too much with whoever your with. They dont try to sell things that your not in there for.

Staff are always polite and always helpful- exactly what we all need in the pandemic, a straightforward transaction and a helpful member of staff! Thank you!

Staff go above and beyond to help and are always friendly and helpful, they always try to get through big queues fast and are an under appreciated essential and vital service in Bideford as a town with an elderly population unable to use the internet and to myself as a younger generation who uses it regularly for posting business and personal items!

When the office changes its hours of business it should also be altered on the website!!\\nAs someone with a serious lung condition I have now walked for 1.5 miles for no reason other than to find out about their inefficiency!

Pointlessly obstructive & unhelpful. Anything more involved than putting a stamp on a letter becomes a saga. As our local post office we have become used to running the gauntlet, some days you'll catch one in a good mood but usually they are pleased to send you away for some imagined discrepancy. Happy to drive to Barnstaple to avoid

Good staff

I do not say this lightly as I use many post offices up and down the country on business trips. This is without a doubt the worst I have found for customer service. Blatantly ignore long queues. Always try to upsell. Spend far too much time chatting to customers and take every opportunity to sell you Post Office insurance for whatever. Avoid if you can.

Great service, but the place is hotter than the sun, it's a releif to get to the counter where you get the cooling breezes through the glass slats where the lucky cooled down, counter staff have the benefits of air conditioning, but unfortunately from this position you can clearly see the Honeywell air conditioning unit that is for the front of shop to keep the customers comfortable. I can't understand there always seems to be a good queue of people, but the manager seems reluctant to spend the money on keeping the customers comfortable by plugging the dam thing in, he seems to think a couple of fans spinning 100c air is going to cool you down, he obviously does not have a fan assisted oven, or he would see the simularities.
Only seems interested in customers who want to exchange money. who for some reason don't have to queue up they just walk straight to the front of the queue, bit annoying when you are queueing in a room hooter than the surface of the sun with the oxygen content in the air less than Mercury. I don't know why people wanting to exchange money take priority over anyone else, the lucky so and SO's are going on a nice stress free holiday, make them queue up like anyone else, it's not like international travel helps the economy.
But what is very enjoyable is walking out of the post office and inhaling your first clean oxygen rich air breath for an hour, you kind of get the feeling when you open the the zip of your tent the morning after a heavy night at Glastonbury, where your top lip is stuck to your teeth after drinking an unholy amount of vodka redbull and realising you have survived the ordeal just before all the air has turned to carbon dioxide, then you get a sense of empathy of what being a fire fighter may be like when his breathing apparatus has nearly run of oxygen after fighting a fire for an hr.

These people need to be reported to the Trading Standards. BEWARE they over-charge even if you have paid what the postage from Royal Mail required you to pay. DO NOT let them steal your money when you have transactions with them. Know what you have and haven't pay and whenever they say an item arrived under-paid, ask for evidence, request the list of the charges, weight and measure the item in front of them and only after these pay the extra charges if you have to. This is an on-going problem with this post office and people need to be aware and CAUTIOUS.
