Ian and Christine were great hosts, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast cooked by Christine was so tasty, a great choice of food on the menu(s) from porridge, pancakes, avocado, salmon to veggi breafast and full English! Our room was lovely, clean, gorgeously decorated, and not only a great view of the garden but a sea view through the trees. The room had so many extras to make it one of the best rooms I've stayed in, for instance, home made cakelets on our first welcoming night, with homemade biscuits each day next to tea and coffee facilities offering caffeine and de caff choices, hot chocolate and even horlicks. We had a couple boiled sweets left in the tray each day, squash for making a cold drink and fresh milk offered in communal hall downstairs if you didn't want longlife. We had a recycle bin, as well as waste, a drawer with notebook and pen we could use, umbrella, clothes brush and hot water bottle should anything be required. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower and matching snugly towels. Top marks for everything. I would definitely recommend this lovely tucked away quiet place off the main road with only a short walk to bus stop or train station down the road. Oh, and in their hall, they even sell home made jam, marmalades, chocs, sweets and their yummy biscuits. What a choice. Very Impressed.

Chris and Ian made us very welcome. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Chris makes wonderful jam and marmalade. The place is spotlessly clean. Biscuits and cake are provided when you arrive. There are also thoughtful extras included. I highly recommend.

This was our third visit to this excellent B and B in a lovely peaceful area on the outskirts of Dawlish. Ian and Christine are excellent hosts. We had the luxury room, very spacious with separate seating area and large en-suite shower and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, served in a very relaxed style in a pleasant dining room. Nothing is too much trouble for these friendly hosts. We shall definitely return. Again!!

We stayed in the Cabin Suite for 6 days and we can't rave about it enough, it was like a 5*! Ian and Christine, the wonderful hosts, were there to greet us on arrival and were available and friendly throughout, nothing was too much trouble. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous garden area. A variety of delicious homemade biscuits were replenished daily and the breakfast was fabulous, especially the homemade granola and musili. We loved it so much we've booked to return in October. Thank you so much Ian and Christine, see you soon!

Ian and Christine first class hosts, very friendly and easy to talk/chat with. We had the deluxe room and what a big spacious room. King bed, 2 seater sofa, 2 double built in wardrobes, drinks tray very well stocked with more than the standard 2 tea, 2 coffee etc plus homemade biscuit, plus home made cake, plus a few sweets, plus if you wanted a mini fridge downstairs with extra milk. Great views, peaceful and quiet. Bathroom with corner bath and separate shower. Breakfast excellent choice, cooked to perfection. A B&B where we would return and also one would recommend to any friend or family without hesitation.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights while having some work done in our home. The b&b is very homely, extremely clean and Ian and Christine were fabulous hosts. The bed was wonderfully comfortable for a good night?s sleep and the breakfast was a great start to each day. Lots of choice, lovely homemade granola and muesli and perfectly cooked hot items. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at The Beeches.

It?s a long time since I?ve written a review about this totally amazing establishment so I thought I?d write an updated review. It?s still the very best b&b we?ve ever stayed in. Ian and Christine are the most lovely, genuine, friendly people you will ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble, they want your stay to be special and a home from home experience whether it?s your first stay or your 50th stay. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and beautifully clean. The homemade biscuits are amazing and the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. The breakfasts are just lovely and cooked with care and love and quality ingredients. The homemade jams and marmalade?s are the best you will ever eat. You will definitely leave with Ian and Christine as new friends. We value them as true friends for life and feel so blessed and grateful that we have them as friends.

Ian and Christine were absolutely wonderful hosts. My mum and I found our room, the facilities and the breakfasts absolutely superb. I have no hesitation in recommending The Beeches to anyone else as a great place to stay when visiting Dawlish and the surrounding area.

Ian and Christine were the perfect hosts. They were both helpful, knowledgeable about the range of things to do in the local area and places we could eat. Our luxury bedroom was immaculate and had a really comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom had a large shower cubicle and a lovely corner bath. Home made squares or biscuits were provided everyday, what a treat. There were many extras, like choice of beverages with fresh milk available which we really appreciated. The breakfasts included a full range of options including home made vegi sausages. as well as homemade granola and muesli, jams and marmalades. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The garden was an added bonus with 4 different areas to sit and relax. On site parking for 3 cars and safe parking on no through road outside.

We found this B & B and it was just what we wanted for a short break in Dawlish, we followed the instructions from the hosts as to get to the location coming in via Starcross , We were met by Christine and Ian and carried out all the covid steps and we were shown to our room, some nice cakes made by Christine with a cup of tea was just what was wanted, and we had different home made biscuits every day of our stay, Ideal location to catch the bus to tour around the local area. God willing we will return
