“Ian and Christine were great hosts, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast cooked by Christine was so tasty, a great choice of food on the menu(s) from porridge, pancakes, avocado, salmon to veggi breafast and full English! Our room was lovely, clean, gorgeously decorated, and not only a great view of the garden but a sea view through the trees. The room had so many extras to make it one of the best rooms I've stayed in, for instance, home made cakelets on our first welcoming night, with homemade biscuits each day next to tea and coffee facilities offering caffeine and de caff choices, hot chocolate and even horlicks. We had a couple boiled sweets left in the tray each day, squash for making a cold drink and fresh milk offered in communal hall downstairs if you didn't want longlife. We had a recycle bin, as well as waste, a drawer with notebook and pen we could use, umbrella, clothes brush and hot water bottle should anything be required. Lovely bathroom with bath and shower and matching snugly towels. Top marks for everything. I would definitely recommend this lovely tucked away quiet place off the main road with only a short walk to bus stop or train station down the road. Oh, and in their hall, they even sell home made jam, marmalades, chocs, sweets and their yummy biscuits. What a choice. Very Impressed.”
