“The best premier inn I have been to ❤️❤️ we came to Exeter for our honeymoon trip as we have never been there before! Elegantly furinshed hotel, everything is clean and the staff are so nice and helpful. We loved the food in the restaurant it was fresh, piping hot and tasty. Nick made our stay extra special he added a bottle of wine to our table as a complementary gift for our wedding❤️❤️❤️ Well definitely be back ❤️”

“We spent 2 nights at the hotel predominately to attend The Open Day at my son’s Horse Racing yard near Ashburton but also took the opportunity of meeting up with family & friends & even managed a swim in the sea at Teignmouth”

“We had a premiere plus room, which was very well fitted out, when we came to use the shower we couldn’t get it to work! While we were at breakfast they went to the room and got it working, when we tried it it wouldn’t turn off, they came back to the room and couldn’t turn it off either, as we were only there for 1 night we left without a shower. The hotel was all good other than that.”

“Perhaps one of the most down to earth pubs I've been in but wow! Possibly the friendliest also!, the Landlord is fun and as a stranger everyone acknowledged me, said hi, or just smiled.”

“A well appointed hotel, relaxed atmosphere. Rooms spacious and well set out. The pool is shallow, so good for families. There's also a hot tub and a sauna. The bar area is nice and there's seating outside. The location is a short walk to the Cathedral, shops, pubs and nightlife are further away, so visitors can enjoy a good night's sleep.”

“This was the third hotel we stayed at on this UK trip. We arrived a few hours before the stated check in time and instead of "you can check in now, but I'll have to charge you for an extra day" we were told that the room would probably be ready in an hour - they'd let us know and we were welcome to have a drink or some lunch. We had both a drink and some lunch and then we were informed that the room was ready and our bags had already been taken upstairs. No extra charge. And unlike so many hotels these days, they actually tidy the room and change out the linens on a daily basis. Just like before Covid! The staff are delightful. After a day or so the staff get to know you and what your preferences are. They brought me glasses of water when I was sitting outside without being asked. The bartenders were very good at mixing cocktails and perfectly made drinks they were unfamiliar with. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good, although we had one hiccup with a breakfast. We only had dinner there one evening - for a group of 8. It was a bit pricy but the service made it worth it. Very close to the cathedral and shopping. Staff suggestions for dining outside the property were mostly very good. I wish they'd had a lift as it was very difficult for me to navigate the stairs, but I was aware of that before we arrived and I managed. (They did bring the bags down for us when we checked out.) We were a group of three couples staying and they were very accommodating. Any deficiencies are made up by the excellence of the staff.”

“After a lovely 4 day stay I felt compelled to review the Hotel Du Vin Exeter. The room was gorgeous, swimming pool a lovely treat when travelling with business, but what really made it was the lovely team. Nothing was too much trouble, a special mention to Helen and the lovely breakfast crew, so friendly and thoughtful, a credit to the hotel. I’ll be back (next time for a holiday rather than work!).”

“Highly recommend this hotel, if you want to travel around Exeter and nearby beaches. Only disadvantage this hotel does not have their own parking, but they can provide some discount if you are parking Near to underground parking.”

“The pub is amazing, nothing like what I expected inside, it's a very old pub and it has a great feel to it. There is a lot of seating inside as the pub just goes back and back. Has a good choice of drinks and a good food menu. Will definitely be back”

“Good value for money. Comfortable, clean and reminded me of a premier inn… just a little below that standard. The decor was fine. I like the 12pm checkout option. Very useful to be next door to Toby carvery for food. The bathroom was effective and simple. Plenty of towels and good pressure in the shower.Overall, it served me well for the nights stay and I would book again if I’m looking for a comfortable reasonably priced hotel room for a short stay over.”

“Exactly what you'd expect from a Travelodge - clean, tidy and no frills. Ground keeping was pretty poor outside, but not really a big issue and the bath was a bit dirty. Other than that it was all good.”
