A number of people had told me that if I truly wanted to experience appalling customer service this was the place to go. I was somewhat sceptical about this, however today I have indeed experienced that service. Royal Mail are currently taking strike action on particular days however I urgently needed to get some important legal paperwork in the system and was quite happy to use send it Special Delivery which I knew would not go until tomorrow, something I would have been happy with, however the rude blonde woman behind the counter decided to shout across another customer that as Royal Mail were on strike there were no Post Office services available. I asked her if that was the case in all Post Offices, to which she responded, no Post Office is taking anything today. Well guess what "rude blonde woman" I immediately went to Exmouth and they happily took my Special Delivery and a load of parcels. In conclusion, the service is rude, the information is incorrect and judging from my experience it would appear they really don't want your business. They certainly won't be getting mine again. Go to Exmouth or Clyst St Mary Post Office for your needs, "rude blonde woman" doesn't work there!!

I wouldn?t buy a rope from this place if I was drowning. God help anyone who needs to use the Post Office, I?ve been there multiple times within the stated hours of operation and always found it to be closed due to ?unforeseen circumstances?? In addition, customer service is consistently poor. In summation, this ?local business? is absolutely useless all round and is taking up valuable real estate that could be put to better use as a chocolate fireguard store.

Not allowed in the shop if you got muddy shoes. The council have recently re-surfaced the road outside so now says not allowed in the shop if you got gravel or tar on shoes. The Post office part has different hours to the shop so I had to wait 10 mins to buy a stamp...Really?

The owner is incredibly rude but the other people who working here are doing their best. Hence one star. I avoid going into this shop despite living locally, I?d rather hop in the car for 5 minutes and give someone else my custom.In the past I have accidentally bought out of date items and when these are returned it was not the apology and refund that would be expected, rather a questioning and accusatory response!

If I could put 0 stars I would, First ever review that I really felt the need to write, Owner and shop staff are so rude and inconsiderate it's unbelievable, went in to pick a package up for my Daughter's birthday, I'm a full time community carer so I don't exactly have much free time with all that's going on, I thought that since it's been delivered and I had an hour free it was fate that I could get it.. I was wrong, turned up at 13:09. Said I needed to pick up a package, owner just stared at me blankly until I said again, someone went behind the counter and abruptly said "What do you want" thought well this is going to go well.. Said I was here to pick a package up for the 4th time.. Her eyes started to wonder around all the packages behind the counter and again abruptly said "Well the post office is closed, it's only 9-1 now" I thought Im only 9 minutes over and I really don't have much spare time so thought they'd be understanding and give me a break.. but no. So unhelpful apparently they aren't 'Legally' allowed to give packages out past closing.. when it's only closed because of the virus at the moment.. would rather drive 30 miles to pick a package up than have it delivered to this place again.

Horrible and oppressive. Actively avoid going in here. The staff are incredibly unfriendly. Most of the stock they have bought from the supermarkets and resold. I suspect a few things are actually yellow sticker items from tesco that they have resold for more than its original price. Dark dingy cluttered shop.

Normally boycott this shop due to the Rude Staff and Overpriced items. Today I was snowed in so I visited the shop to stock up (I'm bad at holding a grudge!)
I brought a packet of Hot Cross Buns with a £1 sticker. When I got home I peeled the sticker back which revealed another sticker.
These Hot Cross Buns were brought from Tesco and were being resold. The original sticker stated 65p (Or 2 packs for £1). The Best Before date was 14/02/2018...2 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS before I brought them!!
Disgusting!!! I WILL never shop here ever again!!! Back to boycotting the shop!!! I would have rated 0 stars if I could!!!

This is possibly the worst village shop! The owner is a rude, vile and nasty man. He despises the local villagers and is rude to anyone he feels like. I won't ever be shopping there again.
