“My Dad and I visited this pub purely by chance after being in the area on our way to Exeter City FC to watch Blackpool. How lucky were we? A real lovely style pub, such a friendly warm welcome and a great pint! Great to have a friendly chat with the barman, who seemed genuinely interested in us as customers. The toilets were also clean and tidy, often a good sign. This is somewhere we’d both come back to again in the future. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend this pub. Five stars!”

“Convenience store so it is expected to have raised prices. Caters for the basic needs in emergencies. Red wine was pricey for the quality but when needs must! Friendly staff, parking outside near home, what's not to like.”

“What a great community shop. Really friendly, handy post office counter and a big selection of locally made cakes and biscuits. There’s also a small selection of second hand books. One star lost due to the lack of fresh fruit and veg.”

“I use this all the time, always in goid working order. It's available during the opening hours of the supermarket as it's just inside the atrium. I like the fsct that's it's indoors and well lit.I have set my amazon account to use lower cupboards so all my deliveries are easily accessible.”

“Lived in Exminster 2 years through the pandemic. The Postmaster and Postmistress have always been cheerful, efficient, patient, helpful and kind. And they have a great range of cards.”

“We got the ensuite room without a view for £140 for two nights. It's an inn run by a small group of people. The people were really nice, and they lent us some shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair because I forgot to take some with me!However, when I got in the shower we realised that the shampoo/shower gel bottle was empty. My partner ran down and got us some but the bottle was clearly labeled "Dove hand wash", and smells/feels like it too so it's not in a different bottle. The floor as you can see had loads of hair on it so I don't know when it was last hoovered which is a bit gross. When we woke up we realised that the inn didn't do any breakfast/lunch. They didn't serve food until 2pm so advised us to get something from the Spa very near by.The room that we were staying in had no door handle so every time we were closing the door we had to slam the door. Some of the other rooms had a handle I think our one was just broke. One of our keys didn't work - not sure if that was meant for the outer door? It would be helpful if it could be labeled because I had to try the door twice every time which was slightly annoying. The location was brilliant, literally a 3 minute walk (if even) from Starcross train station. It was a 5 minute drive to Powderham castle, however taxis were £35 one way as the they come from Exeter so it was just extortionate. So if you could drive you should probably drive!Overall it was a nice enough stay, lots of niggly bits however the staff were very friendly. It probably just needs a bit of a fix up and more attention to detail though.”

“Just been to this post office after 7pm to post a letter locally and send a parcel overseas, was assisted by a very polite and friendly gentleman. Also given free advice and saved me some money or I would have paid for next day special delivery on a weekend. Overall amazing service. Highly recommended. Thank you.”

“Great customer service, always polite and helpful. However, annoyingly only open until 12pm on a Monday! Other opening hours are good, weekdays generally 8am - 6pm. Good location in town - easy to reach on foot. Always explain how things work if you are confused. Great overall.”
