“Good store with a huge variety of products. The isles are always well stocked and tidy. The new addition of the self checkout is really great as it often gets very crowded. I do not think it is fair to reduce stars for the crowds as this is out of their control and all aldis and lidls are like that so it is not necessary to judge on that”

“Always shop here. I do Like the food however lately, Sometimes the freezers are bare. And the fruit is mouldly on the shelves. And prices have sored just of late. Make sure you keep competitive and low in price, with fresh stock, People will swap to another competitor otherwise.”

“Firstly this store is always helpful and friendly and always happy to help if I cannot find anything (usually under my nose) even when the weather is horrid and grey or boiling hot, always a smile for the customers, especially my favorite lady Carole who never fails to have a little chat (without holding up the queue) and is a credit to the store. “Waitrose is a quality store, always has been and hopefully always will be. The produce really really is a notch above the other supermarkets and yes it is a little more expensive than Tesco but then how many times have we read reports of Tesco being fined for using sub standards meat which they've sourced from god knows where. Also Waitrose have much better traceability of their meat and try ( like M & S ) to stock not only British meat but that of a higher welfare standard.”

“Great little shop which serves a huge community of houses locally. They have a lot more product lines than you would expect crammed into a small space so a good variety here. It is a little expensive but they o offer some good deals and some great value products. They do have a paypoint machine but prefer Payments in cash- the free cashpoint in store helps.”

“A very busy store in the heart of Topsham after the expansion into the old drakes pub its greatly improved the range of fresh and tinned products staff aways friendly and work hard to keep the store stocked for visitors and the local community”

“I've always liked Lidl and the goods which they offer on Thursdays, I went in for a browse round and a few bits, came out with a drill and an electric kettle.”

“Nice uncut bread, although wouldn't scan. I had to type in a very long barcode. Thankfully this worked and I was able to complete my purchase with no further problems.”

“The staff are so friendly and helpful.They are also part of the village community and a joy to talk to. They also work as a team and communicate really well with each other and their customers and have a sense of humour.I saw a previous comment on Covid and not being friendly, well I see the complete opposite and enjoy walking in there and having their chit chats when being served. They also pass on any local news that’s relevant for discussion. They are a great bunch ???”

“This store is brilliant! Has a local bakery inside that make sandwiches, pasties, buns, sweet treats too and breakfast baps and sandwiches also plus there's a post office and a good selection of frozen, booze and groceries”

“One of the best places to buy things in bulk. Their 3 for £4 or 3 for £10 options are amazing. Most of my frozen food stuff comes from Iceland as they have a variety of options available at very cheap rates. Even their Indian and Chinese takeaway options are good. I’m personally very fond of their chicken skewer collection which is good quantity for less money. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly. Definitely my go-to place in town for quick bites”

“Really nice marks and Spencer’s,evereythings very well stocked up and also there is a nice variety of stock as well.M&S was also a saviour for my dinner too as I had the chicken wings which were delicious and I had melon for my pudding which was nice as well.Also sells m&s coffee too which is good and staff at desk are polite”

“The employees are very kind and very nice, but what they have done today, they have closed very early. I arrived 5 minutes before 11, they were already closed, but then that is disrespectful, it must close when it is 11:00 p.m.”

“This place nearly always has what you want. It's a massive store and the staff are very helpful. Cheapest fuel in the bay too. The cafe is well operated and reasonably priced.”

“Good variety in this local Sainsbury's and most prices seem to be the same as the supermarket.We pop in now and again as we always manage to find homeware items on offer which either our local supermarket never had or have sold out of .. we find similar in the local Sainsbury's in Taunton too.”

“This is a local shop with friendly staff. Handy if you require anything. A good supply of wines and spirits and frozen goods, the shop does get busy at times but the staff are always helpful and do their best to make sure that you have their knowledge of special offers etc.”

“What's there to say It's Iceland.Every Time I go in there The shelves are always stocked up.I have noticed that the home delivery is better in store than on the app.Only reason why it's a **** & not 5 is it can get very congested at the top of the first aisle. Once past that rest of the store is fine.”

Staff friendly..highly recommended.Parking available.”

“I shop here every week, (Exe Bridges), not cheap, but excellent quality food. Staff are friendly and helpful, always a smile and "hello" from one in particular. ? Very different from a nearby supermarket where, on a good day you might get a grunt from staff.My one criticism and reason for 4 stars, short shelf life on some products, and I've found stock past it's "best before" date a couple of times in the past.On the whole, a nice place to shop. Plenty of choice.”

“Great little store with 2 hours free parking right outside.I just tried their GRO plant gianduja chocolate bar which is one of the best vegan chocolate bars I've had in a while and a great price at £1.20.There are other great offers in store and they do an excellent meal deal (where the snack can be a pasty), but other things are a tadge more expensive than elsewhere.Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area especially to check out any of those chocolate offers (the current Reece's one is good at 2 for £1.20).”

“Good range of products. Well spaced out, some good offers on for starting back to school, uniform and non-uniform. Queues for checkouts are reasonable. Lovely coffee shop. They have reduced the parking too, making why for click and collect. Which could cause a problem at busy times.”
