I have been a customer of vision express for over 10 years. I had a very scary experience with headaches which is down to me needing new glasses. I was treated with so much respect by everyone, sight tests and then the trying on of the glasses. Will really looked after me and stayed late to help me. I picked up my new glasses yesterday and again the team went out of their way to help me and were prepared to wait for me as the traffic was awful in Exeter thanks Jody ??. This team are the best and I am very grateful for everything that they do. They are always helpful, kind and caring in what can be very stressful having eyes tested and buying new glasses. I would recommend vision express over and over again and would be happy with any of my friends becoming customers !!

Just picked up a second pair of glasses. They have a minor manufacturing defect (these things happen!), which only shows when the lenses darken. Called the branch and the immediate response was 'no problem - I've just requested that these are re-made for you...come in and just swap them when you get a text message to say the new ones are ready'.Brilliant service - thank you!

The best customer care I?ve ever received from any business. I?ve been with Vision Express just over a year now, originally with glasses and now with contacts as well, and the team in Exeter is absolutely fantastic. So friendly, and the most helpful people. Couldn?t rate them high enough, thank you for always making the appointments so easy.

Great friendly service from Fab, Judith and Becki. In the Exeter branch. Was very busy in store but my appointment was still on time. They were very understanding with my eye condition and made me feel at ease. Also a great competitive price.

Night mare to get hold of. Just hang up.Always had a lazy eye, Always had a prism in my glasses to help. They took the prism out few years ago which then caused Me headaches. Then went back, had another eye test put the prism back in costing more money in glasses. Recent eye test they took the prism out again. Wasn't until I got my new glasses I knew this. Tried calling as the said lazy eye has been hurting for the last week. Was advised when I got my new glasses that we will " see" how we get on without the prism. Im Now in a situation where I've got to spend more money on a eye test and more glasses which I've only had a week and had 3 migraines in a week when I had 3 in the last 2 years.Have decided after 10 yearsWith vision express to go to a new opticians that will not mess around with my prescription leaving me with migraines.Minimal glasses to offer for people who have nickel allergy this year.Definitely don't have people's best interest.

Will not be returning..Took mother in a wheelchair as can't walk.The we come to you is useless have called emailed and no one gets back to you.Disabled don't bother... Not set up for anyone in a wheelchair...Couldn't do first eye checks properly as wheelchairs don't fit in the rooms and pulling someone's head towards the machine and trying to hold it nearly got the assistant told to....His answer to how do you normally assist wheelchair users was...."we always have problems"Glasses no good had to ask for a refund as not correct.More concerned with selling extras than someone being able to see correctly...Very dissatisfied..

Great overall experience at the Exeter store. Was helped by TJ who went above and beyond. Was professional, friendly, helpful, and very patience in helping me choose my frames, with great attention to detail. Also arranged a same day test so i had the most up to date prescription for my glasses!Was very accommodating with me having my little boy with me, and was an absolute star. Excellent customer service. TJ - a real credit to the store!

Very helpful and proffesional Staff. I was there during my travel, needing sunglasses with prescription. I'm pleased about fast and great service. Galesses arrived yesterday to address we agreed on. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much.

I don't know what's the point of the booking system is if the place is always crowded and it's impossible to get quality service. The booking system is unable to process multiple persons booking, and EVERYTIME the staff is rolling their eyes at our family. But today they simply cancelled our bookings. Apparently, they called us yesterday. Yes, from the suspected scam number, so we ignored the call. No voice message, no text. Their complain system doesn't work either. It's always not their fault, and they don't care. That's £30 on train tickets and half a day wasted.Never again, we are moving to a small, local place that actually cares.

So difficult to get to speak to anyone in the Exeter shop. I know the staff are doing their absolute best and it?s not their fault there are not enough of them. Management should look in sometime and listen to how long the phone rings. I was in the shop a few days ago and it was ringing constantly with no one free to answer it. I am telephoning today and have tried a number of times but with simply no one answering. Not good customer service at all.
