Food is delicious. We?ve been several times before for their baguettes and they are amazing. Yesterday we had their breakfast and it didn?t disappoint, great quality and huge portion (we couldn?t finish ours!). We will be back soon for a slice of cake, as all the cakes in the counter looked to die for. The only thing we would say was that the room was a bit cold, regardless the fireplace being lit, so additional heating in the winter would be appreciated.

The food is great, generous in portions and reasonably priced but not outstanding, but that's absolutely fine. Some people will absolutely love the food and it's very good, just not superb. The ladies serving are absolutely lovely, smiley, kind and hard working. I couldn't ask for better service. I'd definitely return.

Had lunch at the cafe overlooking Fremington, lovely location, lots of walkers, including ? dogs. Cafe food was a bit pricey but quality produce and lots of it. Sat out in the sun as dogs are not permitted in the inside restaurant.

First time here. Ordered lunch of rarebit with seasonal salad. More like a main meal. Was absolutely lovely. More expensive than other places but worth every penny. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the Quay. Would go again.

Great stop for a coffee and a bite on the Tarka between Bideford and Barnstaple.Parking: Cafe customers only car park, but street parking and over-flow car park ,just follow the road. The little single car lane I must warn you has very few passing spaces and hazardous because of pedestrians so go SLOW.

Wow. Just come away from having a cream tea, with hot chocoate and have to say I really love this place. The Staff are friendly and helpful. The visitor centre is amazing....I even changed a signal in the Signal box. The views are breath taking . A must for adults and children of all ages. Come take a wander and learn all about the local heritage. It might just surprise you.

Very good food and service.Limited selection at lunch but tasted delicious. Menu offers jacket potatoes, baguette and wraps all with the same fillings. Only one vegan filling. They can do gluten free.

Exceptional breakfast as usual.Whenever we are on holiday, we have to partake at least twice. We have never found another establishment that provides such consistent meals, especially the breakfast. The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have also noticed that some of the staff have been there for a few years which also tells you something.Thank you to everyone at Fremington Quay

We went for lunch and the cafe was really busy, a lovely member of staff found us a table by the window looking over the water. Really hard to pick as the menu is great, I had Mac and cheese and garlic bread; the best I have tasted in many years. My friend had a jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn, and that was fantastic too. All the staff are lovely and the cafe is sparkly clean. Thank you
