All you need from a small local supermarket. The mutual ownership thing makes Co-op significantly less evil than most of their competitors. The shop was clean, well stocked and tidy. There was enough selection. You could do your weekly shop here so long as you aren't too fussy. There's a free car park right outside. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A great little shop.

Expensive Co-op because it's meant for rich visitors and not for locals. Most of these reviews seem fake or deluded. Usual Co-op low staff levels and over-charging at this branch. The entrance is dangerous for pedestrians but some genius thinks it's safe. Combe Martin Post Office is a standing joke in the village because it is often closed, slow and inefficient. Ilfracombe Co-op is far better.

We are so lucky to have such a great store in our village. The Coop offers us a wider range of products than the smaller local shops. They have a post office, ATM and they raise money for local causes. The car park is also a big win as we are short on those in this village! Lovely staff too.

Nice clean store. Prices bit more than I'd pay at home. But had everything we needed. For a small basic shop

Convenient and has a limited range of healthy foods. Post Office not ideal or reliable, and is NOT open seven days a week as it claims. Not a Paypoint either. Most locals prefer the more reliable Berrynarbor Post Office for better service and access to cash.Combe Martin Co-op Post Office refuses to provide cash change, while claiming to provide banking services.Risky for pedestrian customers who have to enter through the busy car park, in a village of bad drivers and Chelsea tractors. Poorly thought-out pedestrian safety, really.
