My problem started when I bought a used tyre through e-bay.When ATS Kingsbridge tried to fit it, it was found to have a damaged sidewall. I contacted the seller, and eventually I was sent a Return Label via the Post Office. Problem was, it only covered goods up to 2kgs. Back to the seller again after contacting e-bay who nudged them. They said they would send another label..this time for DHL..oh...and would I take it to a local pick-up point ? W H Smith are my local point but their contact number put me through to a central number. I spoke to George who said a tyre required a different type of collection and put me through to another department . The numbers on my Return Label did not correspond with anything in front of him and he referred me back to the seller! My scoring relates to the lack of ease for using DHL as an individual. My wife's former company used them regularly, and they were brilliant. In the meantime, I still have a damaged tyre all wrapped and labelled for return. I have now asked the seller to get it sorted.
