Might be a different experience at a different time but my experience here was terrible.Major service done, came back with a coolant contamination which was £40 to sort.So another trip back to get that done, was told it was sorted with no other details.After getting home i had noticed my heating was no longer working and was told to keep an eye on it.After waiting some time I was taken back in again for a diagnostic and told that there was a blockage somewhere and they didn't offer the service to clear that, to be fair I did get refunded for the coolant change after putting my point across that the coolant change was pointless as it would have to get done again with the clean.Overall poor communication, wasted trips and hassle, have to book elsewhere for the actual fix.Followed reply and got a free future MOT for the troubles

Had a puncture, went to National Tyres as a linked partner. I'm a member of the auto club. Massive discount. Great staff. Halfords call centre was quick to answer my queries. Thank you

Staff are helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Very good service. Parking can be an issue, but if you book up an appointment, you should have no problems. Very reasonably priced.

Very helpful staff here. I had phoned up snout a new battery and they had one in stock at a good price. When I got there they did a free check and found out the battery was not the problem so did not have to buy one. Saved a lot of money. Thanks Halfords!!!

Went in to get help with a flat/failing battery. Guy not interested to help despite the 'got a problem? drop in' sign outside. Wouldn't even look at the car to suggest what needed fixing, let alone helping with an actual fix despite having over an hour before closing and he was not busy (at the time he was just wandering around). He advised he was just covering the branch and is normally based at Plymouth, suggesting that he was doing us a favour to just for being there.... Would not return

Felt very let down by the service. Had my car MOT done and unfortunately it failed, was advised a retest was about £14 so had work done and then returned only to find they could do a retest as the MOT guy was off long term. Completely understand the circumstances but why would such a big company have only one guy for MOT'S or not send one over from another establishment to continuewith bookings. ? wasn't even offered a voucher to use another Halfords so now having to pay full price as a retest can only be done at original garage.?

Nathan was friendly, easy to talk to and really helped me out fixing a light bulb for me. This is the second time I have had help for minor repairs with quick, kind, expert help. Following puncture my vehicle was taken on recovery vehicle to Halfords auto centre . After ascertaining that they had correct tyre vehicle was unloaded and tyre change rapidly undertaken. Type of tyre and price was explained and I was soon on my way. Excellent service with minimum inconvenience.Service: Tires

Day 1 - I took my car for a service and M-O-T in the morning and it failed on one faulty tyre. I ordered a new tyre to be fitted the next day with the M-O-T retest. Halfords staff forgot to fill in the service book with no apology.Day 2 - Incorrect tyre arrived so I had to go elsewhere and missed my retest slot. I booked for next day retest at 3:30 pm.Day 3 - Arrived to be told that my retest slot had been allocated to someone else. I had to wait until 16:45 for a retest and was told how lucky I was!!!!Service: Auto maintenance
