“We love our Dining Rooms Period Tiled Insert Fireplace, but the Open Coal Fire was so inefficient that we looked for a Stove, that could be installed without any major alterations.The Hobbit fitted the bill and fortunately we already knew a local Installer with experience.It was installed last week and in view of our disappointing wet and windy Scottish Summer, it has already proven its worth, in punching above its weight!!Looks like our Dining Room, which despite a roaring Open Fire, during previous Winters, will no longer be the cool and draughtyvenue for Family Dinners and will nowoffer up a more inviting space, even for whiling away the Evenings, in an Easy Chair, with a book!!”

“Peter Booth Kitchens was recommended to us about 13 years ago. They designed, made and installed a complete granite and oak kitchen which is still looking beautiful today. They then designed, made and installed a small office, floor to ceiling bedroom wardrobes, wall hung bedside table and a ‘wine cellar’. Their most recent additions to our home are in the lounge, an oak beam over the fire and floating shelves in an alcove. In the bathroom they have also made and installed a beautiful vanity unit, to our design and matching bath panel with hidden doors at each end to allow for storage of cleaning materials and plumbers access. They arranged for the installation of Quartz for the vanity unit top and other areas of the bathroom. We are always 100% satisfied with their work as well as advice, communication, prices and time keeping. They are always polite and friendly and share their knowledge above and beyond what we have experienced with other companies. “This is a large shop with a mezzanine level. It seems to cater for all crafting needs for hobby crafter children and adults. You wont find much high end here, but specialists should look for specialist shops for supplies.The shop is always clean and tidy. There is also a Costa around the corner where I spend most of my time while my wife and kids are in Hobbycraft.”

It does not smell like like a charity shop at all and have some of the best little finds. “I bought a Nordlux Time Table lamp from Comet, the item was dispatched after a week after ordering and arrived in perfect condition.I can see that other customers had various complaints, but i would respond here by saying that Comet are a retailer who relies on a supplier who relies on the importer and so on. Just because your item doesnt arrived immediately is not Comet's fault. They, like other retailers, do not keep vast quantities of product on their premises, so delays can happen.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews, mostly because there is very little to say. However, went to the Newton Abbot branch after visiting another carpet shop. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful. Provided her with a piece of carpet and asked for same. Very knowledgable of products available and she very quickly found closest match to my sample piece along with others carpets she thought may be more suitable. Went on her recommendation in the end. I need the carpet and laminate quickly and that’s when Sarah very kindly offered to come and do the measuring herself the following day and it was her day off! I was absolutely bowled over. Where do you receive customer service like that these days? I said no and I would wait as didn’t want her messing up her off time to come and measure but she insisted. Sarah arrived at the appointed time with her husband Darren who also works for Carpetright. They set about measuring and that’s when I threw a spanner in the works and asked about wood laminate for the hall. Not a problem, nothing was too much trouble. Soon obtained quote as promised. I have to say if it wasn’t for Sarah I would probably have looked at other carpet companies before deciding. Sarah went way beyond her official capacity which was hugely appreciated. Obviously a great asset to Carpetright. If I was still in business I would have poached her. Great work ethic. A big thank you Sarah. You have set the bar really high for the fitters.”
