“Located a little out of tiny Widecombe on the Moor , Rugglestone Inn was a classic English country pub with good food and service and loads of atmosphere. It was also very popular and busy.”

“We went for a family meal, the staff were extremely helpful. Some members of our party have mobility issues and they suggested an ideal table to sit at and an easier way to enter the Inn. We all, thoroughly enjoyed our meals and they were very helpful as I am gluten intolerant, lots of options and advice. We all felt that we would like to go back again, when we next all meet up.Food & drinks: Food and drinks all excellent and good choice.Noteworthy details: Beautiful old building and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We only went for a lunch time meal but hope to go back again.”

“Ideally situated for exploring Dartmoor, perfect for our break. There was no breakfast onsite which we were informed of when booking. However, we had a lovely brunch at Ullacombe farm just up the road. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Providing a travel cot for our little one on short notice.”

“Usually a very good place for a breakfast, but below par on our last visit. The tea was very weak, the egg was overdone, the bacon was quite salty and the sausage was slightly undercooked in the middle. Despite this, we will return, in the hope that this was a blip on a normally good meal.”
