I am a local lady and I took my car into the garage for a little welding on the exhaust as it was listed as an advisory on the last MOT. I was asked if it had had an oil change over the last few years- which it hadn?t and was therefore advised it should probably be done. I agreed and I picked the car up a few days later. A few weeks later (after only a couple of short journeys) I noticed several large spots of oil on the garage floor. I took it back into the garage and after ?cleaning it up? I was upset to be told that it wasn?t a major leak and he couldn?t do anything to fix it and I would have to live with it. I found another local garage where they carried out a thorough examination of relevant seals, filters etc and fixed the problem.Service: Oil change

I needed a garage to look at my car over the weekend whilst on holiday. This garage was the only one that said to bring your vehicle over, and I?ll look at it and see if I can diagnose the repair.I took it in, and he was able to give me an honest and open diagnosis. He even fixed a fault of a previous mechanic and would not take any money for his trouble.He spent his time on it and was confident that he made my car as safe as he could to get us back to the hotel.If I lived closer, this is the garage I would frequent. It made me feel like he didn't want to rip me off as I was a lady driver who knew very little about my pride and joy.
