First time visit and we were in awe of the place. Every item imaginable for sale and at very reasonable prices as well. An excellent restaurant with a varied menu caters for every taste.

Would give less than one star, purchased mice recently and they were labelled and was told by an colleague they were female, one was NOT, one was a male!!! My mice then had babies and I had to re-home them as couldn't look after them, shocking service as would not refund me for cage as they "needed it back" but had to give it away with the mice as the babies couldn't be disturbed but said they'd refund me for the mice and they didn't after giving them my bank details for the refund !! Shocking and will be reporting to trading standards!!

Seen better days l am afraid, the leasure park was very sad and of course the store is not dog friendly. Nice places to eat outside and free parking, l will not be returning.

Got removed from store because our small elderly dog was in her stroller not disturbing anyone. Store was untidy will never return there again. Outside was dirty

There's an apocalyptic air to this place as you walk from the car parks to the shops, with run-down/defunct boat rides, weed-infested walkways and a generally uncared-for look. The garden centre is poorly managed, where plants are left to fend for themselves. Elsewhere, prices are missing from a lot of products and you'd be wise to check that everything's present and correct in boxes before you head for the tills - as long as you can find them while negotiating the convoluted Covid-era routes that are still in place. It's amazing that Trago has lasted this long!

Called into Trago Mills on our way back up from holiday in South Devon. Everything you could wish to buy and all in one place and just as good were fuel prices that I haven't seen in years... £1.31a ltr for diesel, wow. The first time I have filled the car tank that was less than a £100 in the last few years. Definitely worth a visit.

Trago Mills is looking very tired and to be honest a bit shabby and I'm sure it has seen better days. It's a large shopping complex but even inside it's a bit of a jumble sale. There are plenty of bargains to be had and many weekly specials and these are very cheap for branded goods in large pack sizes. So I guess it's now more of a pack it high and sell it cheap establishment. The fuel when we visited in June 2023 was about 10p per litre cheaper for diesel and 6p cheaper for unleaded, but the queues to get into the station were very long, but seemed to be well signposted and organised.

Signage is poor in the car park and we walked much further than necessary because we went the wrong way. English breakfast in a cafe was expensive but excellent. The store was roasting hot and we didn't buy much because we just wanted to get coolerInadequate Signage to the toilets added to my walking and the facility was in a clean but very dilapidated condition. Unacceptable in modern Britain, with rotten window frames. It is way overdue for a replacement. Not sure if I'll ever go again, after several visits during the last 40 years, I got the impression that everything is old and tired.

The best bargain shopping complex in the South West!I've been going to Trago Mills for over 40 years. First with my grandparents, then my parents, and now with my own family. It's a huge, ever growing complex selling everything you could think of. Household goods, clothes, food, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, carpet, building materials and everything for the garden. It even sells pets and birds. The prices are always competitive and generally lower than usual retail and there is a lot of stock to choose from. The carpets are very cheap and very good quality with good knowledge from the staff and great delivery service. Also the garden section is vast, with lots of plants, pots, sheds and materials to choose from. Also, there are lots of rides and attractions to see whilst you are there, go carts, slides, play areas and a little train to take you on a tour around the outskirts of the area. They all cost very little, so are good value for money. The restaurant is one the best features as it is very cheap. You can get a good breakfast for about £5 or choose one of the specials which are generally the best thing they sell. I had steak and kidney pie on the day of writing this review and it was the best pie I've eaten in years! Home made, piping hot, absolutely full of soft meat and gravy with a massive pastry top. Awesome! Cheap, simple food done very well.To top it off there are peacocks walking around everywhere and don't seem bothered by the multitude of humans staring at them.Well worth a visit!!Top tip: If it's a nice day, have a walk at the top of the garden section. There is a nice, quiet area with a huge lawn, fountains and statues.Edit.... Visited today and had another great experience. My daughter has a serious peanut allergy and sometimes it's difficult when visiting restaurants. Jody the chef took time to check the menu with us and even cooked the meal from scratch for us in a different area. Great service that we haven't always received, even from perceived "better" restaurants. Many thanks.

Massive Trago, but come here for the garden centre it's massive! Also some beautiful gardens to walk round behind the garden centre.

Love coming here on our trips to Devon. I always come away with something I didn't think I needed ?. The staff are very helpful and everything is well laid out. There are lots of other little shops in the precinct and lots of places to buy food and drinks. Kids are well catered for too.Give yourself more than an hour here. It's a place for finding the time to browse.

Trago Mills has become a place I've visited with my family every time we've travelled down to Dawlish, and unfortunately recent events haven't really helped it's longevity. The shopping centre is still massive and stocked with some of the most random collection of items I've seen in a shop before. On the last visit I had, we discovered the garden centre and a whole fountain area we had no idea existed in all the years we'd been visiting.Unfortunately, where the neglect can be seen is in the amusement park. It was in the same state as when we visited back in August - rundown. The water for the water-based games and rides was so filthy it had turned green and slimey. The arcade and it's baby rides had seen better days, and everywhere we walked the place just had that feeling of abandonment.
