The staff were warm and welcoming. The eye test performed by David was efficient and and he was polite and friendly. Lauma, booked me in, took me through the checks and looked after me for buying my glasses. My son was with me to help me choose my frames and she allowed us to look at our leisure but once chosen, she was efficient and professional and I feel she dealt well with the purchase of the glasses.

The staff where jolly and then optician especially made me fill like an individual. At the end I also didn't feel pressured to buy new glasses

Appointment was on time and I saw everyone I expected to see for a Contact Lens check and Eye Test.

Really disappointed with particularly my contact lens check and the conduct of the staff (Esther from Cornwall St, Plymouth). Found them to be abrupt, unprofessional and not as thorough as I would have hoped. I was told that a contact lens check would take about 30 mins - I was in and out in about 15. Also was met with difficulty when I asked about comparing the retinal scan images from my previous visit to the current images produced - apparently you cannot cross reference images....so charging £25 extra for a single use image and not being able to compare to see any changes - which seems completely inefficient. Also met with resistance when I asked if my prescriptions could be emailed to me as well as paper copies. I have used Boots opticians for almost 20 years, and had good service - so obviously this sub standard experience yesterday has left me very disappointed. Happy to go into more details - and would like a response and to talk to someone. Particularly would like a refund for my contact lens check - which was not completed thoroughly in my opinion.

The lady that served me (Hazel) was very professional, polite and friendly, hazel explained everything to me about the process I had done. Hazel fitted the glass frames to my face, ie bridge/nose pads, and then carried out all the measurements and alignment of my eyes. Hazel then explained all the different items that I had asked for, and the prices which I was more then happy with. Hazel arranged a convenient date/time for me to collect, and be fitted with my new glasses.

My experience at Boots Opticians Cornwall St Plymouth was very agreeaby. It had been a long time since having an eye test so it was completely different from my last test. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient. The Optromatis. Dr D.Machor made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain each procedure, so if I decide to buy new spectacles then I will return to Boots.

Devin was brilliant, went through the whole varifocal process and really put my mind at ease - no hard sell, just honest, real advice that was refreshing and has made a Boots optician loyal fan out of me
