Absolutely terrible. They are specifically catered to the alcoholics and smokers in around the Barbican area. The staff as much as admit it having asked about the lack of produce compared to the CooP that ran it previously. Staff are rude, arrogant, the fridges don't work, which cuts down on the range of produce further, and the past week it has been like walking into a sauna due to the AC not working.
Being a local who lives in the area I used to pop into the CooP and more often than not they had what was needed, this is no longer the case unless you want to grab an alcoholic beverage or cigarettes. Avoid if you can help it.

Nice little shop
Can feel crowded at the weekends as shoppers mix with drinkers.
Great place and only place on the barbican that sells cigarettes

Love this shop , although small and doesn't have the same offerings as the other one round the corner , the staff are friendly And remember locals which is a rarity these days .. So nice to have friendly and helpful staff

This, by co-op standards, is a tiny outlet. The one around 300 metres away isn't huge, but this falls squarely into corner shop territory.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, given that it's on The Barbican; it's a touristy area, so it's too be expected.
It carries the essentials and serves its purpose well. If you require a bigger shop, head to the one close by.
