Very dated building with old, miserable decor in my room. Shower has zero pressure, it's ridiculous. Noise from adjacent rooms and busy street. Let's hope breakfast is enjoyable, or I'll be asking for a refund!*Update* - breakfast is by Premier Inn, but in adjoining Beefeater. The place is so grimy and disgusting. Mediocre breakfast made worse by incompetent staff and filthy dining room. Avoid!

Perfectly clean, tidy, spacious room with a large bed and soft, warm bedding. I had a peaceful nights sleep and an excellent breakfast in the morning! Staff were also super friendly and helpful - the girl on the desk got me chamomile tea! Thank you ??

I stayed here around 8 years ago and had a poor experience with excessive noise coming into the room from the main road (traffic and emergency services in the early hours) and waking me up multiple times throughout the night and the wifi speeds were non existent. I thought I would give it another go as it had been a while and they could have changed things, or so I thought... The check in process was ok, I got to my room and there was a smell of mould in the bathroom, the paint was flaking off the walls, but most importantly the water pressure for the shower was almost non existent, I had to run around just to be able to get enough water to rinse the soap off. I asked the receptionist if they could look at the problem, the first words out of her mouth was "how long are you staying for" which I thought was a red flag... Not, "I will get it looked at". I was staying for 4 days, but I didn't see how that could effect the repairs??? Anyway, after the 4 days there was no sign of any repairs to the water pressure or feedback from reception as to any progress. I can honestly say this will be my last stay here, ever. If you want a premier inn, go to the Lockyers Quay instead, I have stayed there many times with little issue. Very disappointing from the hotel, avoid if you want a decent night's sleep and actual water pressure. I do hope they read this and rectify the problems, it was room 111.Rooms: Avoid

Here for the week with work. Awkward place to get into off a very busy roundabout leading into Plymouth centre, looks like it needs updating, tired. Tried ringing twice on day of arrival to confirm booking, nobody answered on both occasions, the first Tel number also a premium number, not good enough. A Beefeater adjoined which is good but a little pricey.
