Great service.We were fitted in for an early dinner at short notice and didn't feel rushed.Table waiting staff were attentive and friendly.Food was good but not exceptional for the price.

Exquisite meal here last night, which also happened to be my first visit at The Barbican Kitchen.It is on the pricier side, however the quality of the food is amazing and very well presented which makes it worth it.I?d recommend the caramelised onion and goats cheese tart and butternut squash risotto?. both were divine.The truffle and parmesan fries are also a MUST - they?re the best I?ve had!Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was cosy and inviting.Highly recommend if you?re looking for somewhere just that little bit more special.Vegetarian options: Very well thought out and seasonal options. I?d recommend the risotto.

From start to finish our meal was excellent.Our Waitress (the Portuguese lady) was amazing attentive detail. Spotted it was my brothers birthday and arranged a birthday pudding.She was totally aware if the needs of the table.Food was excellent I had the pork plate which was well presented amd tasted superb. The only criticism was the crab dish was slightly disappointing, not enough crab, we thought it would come in the crab shell!!!

The food is excellent: perfectly cooked, and the service is fab too. Fixed price lunch menu quite reasonable for a terrific quality restaurant.

I'm sat here writing this and as much as the food is amazing and tasty there is one person that sets this place apart from anywhere else. John is the most amazing waiting staff I've ever had the privilege to meet. He is passionate,excited about the product he sells and quite clearly loves his job. Tanner brothers you did well employing this guy. 5 stars all the way

Lovely environment and food.we booked for our special dinner and it didn't disappoint. Food wine and service was the best. Always very polite. The pork main was perfect.

We visited on a Tuesday evening prior to our ferry crossing the next day. The last time for reservations is 9pm. we arrived at 8.45pm and the waitress had to check with the chef if they were still serving. So, off to a poor start, but all approved by the chef, we were seated. I opted for the fish and chips, and my husband had the pork plate (medalions and pork belly). Both were delicious and good portion sizes. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

A great restaurant with high quality food and good service. A small menu which appears to be quite ordinary, however, the food is cooked perfectly with high quality ingredients. A very pleasant setting which made for a relaxing meal. The staff are pleasant and provide very good service. A place we will return to.
