Crazy to see that money is turned away .Picked up three items , had £20 cash left in us from a day out .Jeans 11.99 , shirt 5.99 old scarf 2.99.Totalled £20.97.Shop supervisor /manager says ? we don?t discount items ?.Before even seeing what the offer is .The shop assistant did total it in front of her and the same response was given , with a surprised look from the assistant, well aware of the missed sale .I get the charity wants to make as much profit as possible but from a business perspective the missed sale of paying for the individuals wages for two hours for the sake of 97 p off the old scarf resulted in less sales in the day .I do donate items to the shop as well as others in the local area , many items of which I could sell myself but choose to let the charities profit from them .Poor handling by the individual.Thumbs down ?

It sells some new fairtrade and seasonal products which can be nice and useful. The thing that annoys me with Oxfam is the way items are arranged by colour. It makes the place look chaotic and finding anything a chore to the point I generally don't bother. In my opinion arranging products by type is more logical since I don't have the time or inclination to browse the entire store.

Great branch of Oxfam with really good stuff. There's also a separate Oxfam Bookshop with some fantastic bargains
