Convenient for getting diesel.... It was great hearing a customer ahead of me and the cashier discussing how they "don't like holiday folk *.... No worries I'll find somewhere else in future!

We were placed in a 2 bedroom terrace house located in the 'Pine Cones' area. The smell of damp absolutely knocked our heads off when we opened the front door. The property had mouldy rotten window frames, the world's most flithy bathroom light pool and a kitchen window that would not close. The whole park is incredibly dated, completely stuck in a time warp. We left early, our accomodation was just too grim. The entertainment was the worst I've ever witnessed at a holiday park and we've stayed at A LOT. At least the dust ridded faux marijuana plants by the indoor pool provided a laugh.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Our place was clean & had everything we needed no6 Lakeside. entertainment was fantastic, food was great, sooo much to do !. Nearby beaches were awesome. On site shop was fully stocked (you do have the option to go to the local 5min away tesco if the prices are not to your liking). The only area of improvement would be the male workers in the arcades, very hostile and also I would say that there definitely needs to be a designated person looking after the soft play centre as we had some rough family of kids targeting our solo child - we were obviously there to supervise but I could see some holiday maker vs holiday maker action going on here. The park was beautifully kept, no rubbish anywhere we saw. 10/10 would stay again, really good value for money. If you dont like noise or kids, then you need to visit an OAP only park - this is a family holiday and catered very well for adults who have kids !. The entertainment was so silly and delightful. Pure British holiday where you can have a drink & your kids are happy !.

We have just come home from a week's holiday and we're very impressed by the park. Lovely accommodation ( lakeside 42) pretty gardens and generally well maintained. The entertainment staff are amazing , they work so hard and are really friendly. It was great watching them with the little kids and the gameshows were a bit silly but fun. Vinnie should be on the West end !! His voice is just fantastic! And Sam and Nancy are both very talented singers too. Izzy was great hosting the wrestling, a real live wire! All the staff were polite and helpful. From reception to the barstaff , nothing was too much trouble. The indoor pool was lovely and not too busy ( lockers might be useful here ) The park.was full but nowhere was overcrowded and there was a generally laid back.feel to.the place which made for a relaxing holiday. 2 minor points in the accommodation...coathooks would be a handy addition and the outdoor table wasn't big enough , the metal plate for barbeques made it impossible to eat there. We loved the location for visiting the local area too. The food in both the old mill and the entertainment venue were good quality and reasonable prices and even the bar prices were not overly expensive. In all we are glad we picked golden coast for our summer holiday. Thank.you x

We had a great time at golden coast staff were really good and helpful my kids loved the prizes from the prize shop we had a lot of fun in the 2p machines and we had nice time bowling. Accommodation we stayed in was lovely and spacious and nice bedrooms. Just 1 downside every time you go out in car when you come back its hard to find a space it would be better if the car park had number spaces to your villa so you always had a space otherwise everything was amazing we go again definitely

Unfortunately we had to leave 3 days early as it didnt suit our families needs. We knew that you would have to book certain activities, climbing wall, wave machine etc but there was no mention of having to book slots for the pools. My teenage son is severely autistic non verbal, when we arrived in swimwear to use the outside pool we were turned away and told you had to book. Obviously to most this would be ok but this caused alot of distress to him. It didnt help that we had to pass the pool daily and in his eyes he wanted to join in with what he could see, this is what he wanted to do the most. When I got the welcome pack on arrival its stated on it pool times and said no need to book on it. I wish I had been told this upon check in as it would of made life alot easier as a single parent. We tried to go to the club for the entertainment but it was obnoxiously loud even for me. We also waited over hour and thirty minutes for food on the onsite restaurant. We ended up going off site to do activities which I financial hadn't planned for as the site looked wonderful and accommodating for him so we had to leave friday. I feel that the booking systems for this should of been mentioned prior to booking or I wouldn't have drove 6 hours to come to this park. The site obviously had email addresses of people coming and should of addressed this to its visitors prior to arriving. Obviously this is just a review from a parent of a child with special needs and the activities pre booked before arrival where great. That's why I think 3 stars is a good honest review and maybe the company should look into doing some autism awareness training manly for the reason one of the staff said "well he could go in the pool on his own as we only have the space for one more person " My son needs constant care and that would be out of the question for his safety. The apartment was nice enough though that cant be faulted but the parking was hit and miss but that's no fault of the park, maybe if you need disabled parking contact them prior to visit. I'm just genuinely sad we had to leave and hope that in the future they can be more accessible to additional needs for other visitors.

Verdant Leisure Golden Coast holiday park Woolacombe We stayed in an Ocean Tide Villa with 3 bedrooms. I was impressed with the fast service when, upon arriving, I went to reception and reported that there were no towels left for us. I pointed out that we had paid £10 for them and that the website stated that they were included in the price. The receptionist refunded £10 to my card. Great service. I also reported that the extractor fan in the bathroom didn?t work. Within a very short time a maintenance person arrived and replaced the faulty extractor fan and a member of the hospitality team arrived with clean towels. When we tried to make toast with the toaster, the electric immediately tripped out. We tried a different socket but it was the same result. I reported this at reception and the person on duty said someone would come with a replacement, but no one came. We used the grill on the cooker instead so it wasn?t an issue. Regarding the accommodation, the ?Villa? felt very much like we were in a caravan. It was about double the size of a large static caravan but had a pitched roof. It was adequate but not really a home from home feel. I think the ?villa? description could be changed to ?chalet? to give a more accurate expectation. There are a few simple things lacking which would be relatively inexpensive to address. * Some coasters for drinks would be helpful, more for the holiday village hospitality team, as it would avoid stains being left on furniture from cups and glasses which may need to be cleaned off. * There was no shaving point. These shaving points are also necessary to charge rechargeable toothbrushes. We use electric toothbrushes. * I would mention that our particular Villa, which was in the Orchards section, number 40, was very dark even on the brightest day due to its situation. There were large trees outside the door stopping a lot of light entering the windows. We had to have lights on all the time, even in the daytime. * Just a minor thing. There was the right amount of crockery (minus one small plate. There were only 7, but 8 of everything else) and cutlery. However, There were large dinner plates and very small plates, probably 6 inches in diameter, but no size plate in between. The size you might have a sandwich on. A few pint size glasses would be helpful too. Overall the holiday was good for us a family break with our 6 year old grandson. Lots of activities for kids and entertainment for adults. Pleasant staff, well maintained and clean facilities. I would consider this site again for a holiday to bring young children to. Thank you. Roy Emery.

Ugly site that has about as much charm as a 1960s council estate. The beach side Bistro is pub tables in the car park! Good selection of mostly beige food with plenty of chips! Would appeal to all day drinkers and unruly unsupervised children. The delightful family in the villa near us drank all evening and on their return liked to fight each other! Delightful individuals. Worst site I've ever stayed on.

Great little park. The only down point of the week was the terrible weather! Obviously they couldn't do anything about that. We used all facilities apart from the wave rider and found all the entertainment funny, and very interactive. Vinnie and his team of Nancy, Sam, and izzy were brilliant. We had a child with extreme needs and they literally bent over backwards to accommodate him. Lucy on the bar is great, and her team work very hard in the venue. The accommodation was tidy and comfortable. We had 2 houses side by side in lakeside. It had lots of room and the beds were great. All round good experience, and would definitely recommend ?

We have had a fantastic holiday over the past week. We stayed in Coimbra House 2 pet friendly accommodation which was absolutely lovely. We didn't use any of the facilities apart from my sons went bowling and used the cinema. The food at the Old Mill was really lovely. The Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The holiday park is in an ideal location for visiting both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. We would recommend this park for an amazing holiday.

Fantastic stay and friendly staff really good with the children during all activities. Would really recommend to families looking for a lovely place to go with the children and they allow dogs all over the park
