We absolutely love coming here and we always come down very last minute and the room we stay in is overlooking the sea so when you wake up to the beautiful sound of crashing waves against the rocks it's just bliss. The rooms are a great size and well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here as it's our 4th or 5th time here!??

We enjoyed a lovely break in our favourite place in Devon. The hotel was relaxing and the views from the Marisco suite were incredible falling asleep every night to the sound of the sea! (We did have amazing weather!)Breakfast delicious thanks Alex and service with a smile thanks GeorgieRooms: Marisco suite had a luxury showerThe room had lots of spaceThe views were incredible and comfy chairs to sit and enjoy the Juliet balconyOh and loved having a fridge!Nearby activities: The beaches and coastal paths are on your doorstep and so are the pubs for food as well as drinksThe car park in Woolacombe is great for a day on the beach if you have lots of ?stuff?.Walkability: We have been coming to Mortehoe and Woolacombe for 35 years and really enjoyed the close proximity of the beach and pubs. Walking is a pleasure if you don?t mind the hills!

Stayed in the Marisco Room with great sea views. Met Georgie who is do-it-all staff with great personality. Room was large and clean, bathroom a bit small. Very good breakfast choices in retro 1950's dining room. We day-hiked the Southwest Coastal Path only a short walk out the front door. Definitely recommend staying here.

Just returned from another wonderful stay at the Lundy House Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, plenty of choice for breakfast and simply stunning views, in fact, everything we need for a relaxing holiday - we have already booked our next visit. Thanks Tim and staff.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of hot water for baths and showers. We had a garden view but the sea views at the front are superb. The staff were friendly and when I left my Kindle by mistake under the bed, they posted it back to me. I would recommend this place to stay - the superb beach of Woolacombe is just down the road. We also visited Putsborough Sands, Croyde and Ilfracombe - a great base for visiting new places.

Last minute booking staff amazing rang as we were on our way to say room was ready when we arrived which was nice. Room was very clean and comfortable pillows not to my liking but I always bring my own as I?m fussy. We didn?t have a sea view but you can sit outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked to order. If you do book, book though hotel you get a better price we made the mistake and went through booking.com and paid more

This was our second stay at Lundy House Hotel. We had a room with a bay window with amazing sweeping views across the bay. We really liked the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The decor is a bit tired in the public areas but overall the hotel is fantastic value, especially for its position. It's walkable to both Woolacombe village and Mortehoe, but steep in places. We managed it though and we're not young. We'd recommend the walk around the cliffs on the National Trust land towards Mortehoe and The Beach House restaurant. We'll definitely stay at the Lundy House Hotel again.

Found the room very cold We did mention it but was told heating to early to put heating on Pillows was so flat We did asked for more pillows next morning which we got but they was also flat need to get more expensive pillows Our room wasn?t cleaned in the four nights we stayed there But every day staff asked if we needed anything and always got what we asked for All the staff are a credit to the hotel But we only saw them in the morning We also had to check ourselves in key was left on reception desk Car parking was a bit tight and you have to go down a sleep slop Thought it was a very expensive four days No water in the room it did have a fridge which was very noisy at night Breakfast was ok Would have been nice to have had some fresh fruit £155 a night isn?t cheap Best bit was view from our balcony which was absolutely amazing it?s a shame it was to cold to sit out side Unfortunately we wouldn?t return

A glorious place to unwind and relax. The views are superb, rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, beds are very comfy. The staff (owner included) are friendly, courteous, helpful, and made me very welcome. As a returning customer my experience was as good as the first time round. During this visit, breakfast was brilliant, great selection, and well prepared.

Had a wonderful stay in Lundy House Hotel - Room was spacious , spotless and views were spectacular. Breakfast was lovely with so much choice. But most of all a big thank you to all the staff and Tim who went out of their way to help me when I badly hurt my right hand - offers to take me to A&E , look after my dog and in the end drive me to get medication and food - with a complimentary tour of the local area. They really did go out of their way to make me feel better Thank you ??, can?t wait to return with no injuries.
