Absolutely fantastic camping ground! The views are to die for! All the staff we met were incredibly friendly! The shop has a great selection including a great selection of vegan & eco products. Fantastic facilities which were well kept and most importantly clean!

Actually the loveliest campsite I?ve been to. Have been back about 5 times, stunning views, clean toilet blocks, lovely well stocked onsite shop which serves delicious coffee and croissants, and North Morte is a very cute village with several pubs.

This is a fantastic site if you want to have direct access to the coastal path for some very scenic walks to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe and great views. We stayed here a few years ago and would definitely stay again. Friendly and helpful staff. Arrived quite late and had a call letting us know the code to get in after hours. Very helpful. Due to the location this is quite a hilly site (non-hook up pitches) so levelling blocks are helpful. The site is very well kept, clean, and quiet with good shower facilities (best we have had). Had a campervan pitch with hook up which was nice and flat and they were helpful in lending us a hook up lead when ours was a bit short. There is a really good on-site shop that serves fresh coffee and pastries too ! Will be coming back again.

First impressions on arriving were not good. The lady on reception was not welcoming at all. We had been stuck in traffic for 6 hours - a smile & a bit of friendliness would of been appreciated. That said it is a nice site and as stated very windy even on the caravan bit. Facilities were good. Village us about 10 minute walk. 2 really nice pubs (they were very friendly &accommodating) . Central to most places to visit. Would not return as too hostile for us. That needs looking into. (We arrived a week last Friday at 16.00)

Good campsite. Mainly slopey pitches on grass, with some flat areas. The hard-standing pitches seemed to be relatively flat (just without the coastal view, and less windy). Excellent views on the grass pitches, with a sunset when no clouds. Showers and toilets OK. 5-minute walk to the local village/pub. Pubs were OK(ish), one of the pubs didn't serve food on a Monday, the other was shut on a Monday (this pub the chefs wore 'dirty' whites), I do not recommend 'The Ship Aground'. Would recommend if you're visiting this area

Great campsite about a 20 minute walk into the village. All facilities you need and lots of choice where to pitch. We went in Lundy view and had a fantastic sea view, but boy does it get windy as others have said. Toilets and showers clean with hot water, shop selling basic amenities as well. Mortehoe is a lovely village and can even walk to woolacombe to. We got the bus back though! Definitely would stay again.

Lovely clean and well presented campsite. Amazing views from the camping field, the sunsets each night were incredible. We went over bank holiday weekend and there was plenty of space. Super for kids and dogs. Useful shop. Downsides are it?s a long walk to the toilet block from some camping pitches, it was hard to find flat ground and it was windy when we went so make sure your tent is sturdy!

Absolutely fantastic site! Been visiting for at least 20 years if not longer! Family and dog friendly. The camping area is well maintained and has fantastic views of the coast. The facilities are brilliant, clean and plentiful with a large toilet block, dishwashing facility, laundry, dog washing area and shop on site!

A gem of a family run campsite in North Devon near Woolacombe and Mortehoe. Facilities are decent and the location is superb, views in the camping field are across the Bristol Channel to Wales and Lundy Island. Staff are helpful and polite, there are plenty of great pubs nearby too ? Recommend highly! Only niggle is no free Wi-Fi ?

Big site but not very flat for camping. Facilities are lovely and clean and the shop is well stocked. Close to drive down into woolacombe but a very big hill back up if walking! The beach just off the site has sadly been closed for a few years now but all in all it?s somewhere we will come back to x

Have stayed at North Morte Farm Campsite a handful of times already this year, last year too and over the years. Not just August, we camp when we can all year round. I stay with my two young daughters or on my own when I just need a getaway. My partner and I stay too (just got back) and we?ve been as a group too, it couldn?t be more perfect. I usually just rock up in the T5 but have pitched a 3 man & a family tent here, Take your time and you?ll always find a great pitch, Face west and you?ll be in for a treat. The views are hard to beat. Although a large site with hills everything is in walking distance, the facilities are spotless all year round, the showers are powerful and warm, the loos are fresh. The pot washing area is great with huge sinks, and the laundry room looks awesome, not that I?ve used it. My girls love the wildlife, rabbits, birds, butterflies and the space. They love to look out to sea and simply chill as we cook. A big thing for me when staying with my girls is that the site feels safe, they feel safe, they know where everything is and if they need to they know they could just head to the shop & friendly faces. The coast path in right there, so a great starting point, or if you are just passing by make sure you stop off. We head to a few of the little coves & smaller beaches nearby, each come with there own ?wow? moments. Low tide and it?s rock pool heaven. The vast beach at Woolacombe is walkable so don?t be put off by the hill, you can do it?. It can get busy but if you like to walk just head to the other end and along to Puttsbrough beach or further to Baggy point. Lee bay in the other direction is well worth a visit too. The village has a few small shops, two great pubs, fish n chips & a lovely Thai food takeaway too. The shop on-site is one of the best, everything you could need as well as great quality produce, the fresh food counter & cakes are incredible, my daughters can?t keep away. The coffee hits the spot and the staff are super nice. Check in is easy, again the staff make it a pleasure and are super nice too. See you again soon NMF ?
