Staying at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel felt like a real treat. The room was excellent with a balcony and beautiful views. The service was exceptional - everybody was helpful, warm and friendly whilst also being professional. We paid more than we would normally pay for a weekend away, but it was well worth it and we will be back!Rooms: Beautiful room with luxury en suite. Great view across the beach to the sea. Huge comfortable bed.Walkability: The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the bars, restaurants and the beach.Food & drinks: Pricey but good quality... you get what you pay for!

Visited spa and indoor pool with my wife. Spa was a relaxing experience, but not my scene. Pool too small for a proper swim. Wife had a great time though.Noticed it had an impressive gym, and also a cinema which looked quite high end.Impressive building and grounds and very well maintained.

Had the MOST WONDERFUL stay with my Mum. Spa break with Breakfast included. From the moment we arrived felt well looked after. The hotel lobby, rooms and spa were all so gorgeous!!!We enjoyed some treatments and a relaxing spa with tea and pastries. Then chilled in our room before heading to the Brassiere for dinner. Food was superb and the service was fantastic. The pool - indoor and outdoor were beautiful and the gym although I didn't use it looked incredible.Parking, no problem-ample on site parking. No real reason to leave the hotel unless a bimble on the beach as it is just so cosy and lovely.Dreaming of my return. Defo want to try out the Cinema next time.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have stayed here a few times now, thought we would upgrade from camping, now we are older!??A lovely place to stay, great location, over looking the green area of the Hotel and of course Woolacombe Bay??Great facilities here, some come as included in your price, then spa treatments and cinema as extras.Loved the pools here, our first stay the weather was so warm, we were in the outside pool at 7.30am ? that was amazing! Our next stay was colder, though still in July! So made good use of the indoor pool.Didn't like their pool lockers! It took ages to get them to work, then after swimming, I couldn't get it to work to get my clothes out!???????????? It would of meant walking through the whole hotel in my shorts to reception! But luckily my partner went for me.They need to sort these out, as many guests took their belongings to the pool side????The rooms were very nice, upmarket, comfy beds too.Team and coffee facilities in the room and a complimentary box of biscuits in the room too.Though what you initially pay for the price of your room, you would be expecting nice things like this.Lovely guy on the entrance to the Hotel always gives a pleasant greeting?? and advises you on parking, surfing and just nice friendly welcomes, each time you come in and out? There is easy access to the beach through the gardens, saves you walking all the way around the property. The security door /gate has been upgraded this second visit, which makes easier access through it.A lovely place to stay.Rooms: The rooms are quite upmarket.A kettle. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and milk provided. Plus some exclusive biscuits in a box?Hair dryer, alarm clock, ironing board and iron? Two lovely seats by the window, to relax and take in your lovely view? The bed, pillows and quilts were very comfortable. The bathrooms were tastefully fitted out. Lovely shower, though did lose pressure on the 3rd at times!Hand gel, body lotion and shampoo all supplied in the room. Had a lovely aroma!Dressing gowns and quality towels supplied.Walkability: It's a great base to have your holiday from. You can walk to the beach through the private grounds and have access to the security gate, with your digital key supplied.

The hotel is beautiful, however, the "bouncer" on the front is like a Rottweiler! A lesson in customer service would not go a miss, yes I am referring to you, the scruffy old man with the beard in a ponytail. Sort your manners and your image out. A big let down to an otherwise lovely hotel.

I had two great spa treatments and an afternoon tea here over the bank holiday weekend. The spa was amazing! Probably one of the best I've visited. Hot drink and pastry on arrival and a robe plus towel, which I wasn't expecting, having not booked a 'spa day'. The facial and foot massage were both great. I hadn't had either before and I would now definitely book them again. The afternoon tea was lovely. A good selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. The scones were quite dry, more biscuit like. I wasn't sure if this was intentional or not, but with lots of cream and jam they were tasty enough. Plenty of hot drinks offered.

Another priceless week at The Woolacombe Bay. Such warm & friendly staff. Big mention for the breakfast staff who were excellent. See you next year.

We stayed here for 5 nights, mainly to walk the Coast Path. It?s a great location, with acres of hotel lawn in the front, and beyond that two miles of lovely sandy beach, while being only few steps from the centre of Woolacombe. We were given room 302, a lovely room in the turret, but with one major defect: it was hot while we were there, but the windows wouldn?t open (a safety issue, because of low sills), and the portable air cooler was ineffectual, so it was unbearably hot. The staff efficiently organised a switch to room 309, ?Swallows?.. This suite is enormous, and we were very grateful for the switch. While comfortable, with as much room as anyone would want, the fittings are slightly odd: despite the size of the bathroom, there were no shelves apart from a wire rack on the shower, while the chairs in the lounge didn?t really fit in. However, the bed was really good, and we slept well. We ate each night in the Bay Brasserie, which was excellent. We felt that the Hotel was up-to-date, getting rid of the formal dining room (the room is still used for breakfast) and focusing on a more casual eating experience. Most evenings we had the ?fish of the day? which was outstanding. Throughout our stay, staff were polite, efficient and helpful, and we expect to return when we will use more of the hotel facilities.
