Lovely staff, yes you have to que sometimes but that is life, really greatful that this Post office is here in the centre when so much has closed around them, being a local i use this every week.

Went to collect a " sorry we missed you Delivery" item that they didn't deliver even though we were in on a Friday. Had to wait until Monday. Went at 10:15 to collect it and the office is closed saying it only open from 8 am to 10 am!!! So they give people 2 hrs!!!! Discusting service

Paid in a cheque for my Santander account. The counter girl didn't know what she was doing and the cheque got lost. No easy way to sort it out. Never paying in to Post Office again.

The few staff that there are, are friendly & helpful but extremely stressed.At most time's there's just one cashier on the main counter & one in Bureau de change/Travel money counter, at very busy times (?) they bring another cashier out but it's mostly only at the end of the dayThese cashier's are incredibly efficient & know their job's, sadly the same isn't always true of the customers who very often dither & hold thing's up. Avoid going here first thing in the morning and during "lunch breaks" as many businesses choose to do their banking & business posting at those times, as it's now the main town post office there's a lot of local businesses who use these services and it takes time to deal with themTime is the main issue I have with this post office, time spent queuing is one of the worst parts but even worse is the closing time of 3pm & although some day's that's extended to 5pm it's actually more often than not 3/4pm..How can that be? It's due to all the "jobs" that need to be done in order to close the system down, as there are only 3 staff this Post Office usually closes early with no warning... It's frustrating for customers and staff alike.The company either makes the decision to simplify & streamline the services offered or they invest in training and recruiting staff, this way of doing business is out dated & inefficientAlso a move back into a separate building would be a better idea, having the main post office wedged in amongst WHSmith stationery isn't in anyway private when dealing with financial issues & it doesn't feel particularly safe

Friday 11am. Only one cashier desk open. Huge queue. Left after only 3 customers were served in 20 mins. Went back later and it had closed 2 hours early. It also looked scruffy & untidy with litter everywhere.

They shut whenever they want and haven't updated their website to match their opening and closing hours.I have tried everyday this week to get here and they're shut or have decided to close early.Need more staff as when they are open, its a 45 minute wait.

I waited 45 minutes to get my parcel from the que to the final destination of veteran cahier (miserable glum scrooge man with greying hair) which is a distance of 14.8 meters. A turtle could have done that in 14 minutes. Seriously, I looked it up. An ordinary turtle cruises 0.17 mph; it could make it from the que to the final destination of veteran cahier (miserable glum scrooge man with greying hair) in 14 minutes. The WHSmith Bournemouth Post office took 45 MINUTES to do the same trip.I had to wait in line at this post office. There is no line at the turtle store. I could have popped in, bought a turtle, strapped the parcel to its shell, and it would have gotten there in less than half the time.Can I get a refund here? A free stensil set? A colouring book? A partial refund? A complimentary box of turtle food? Anything???!!!!

Absolutely awful. There is always a queue, no matter what day or what time. There is always only one person on the tills. Even though there are 6 tills. It's ridiculous. I'm having to wait 20 mins or more.

I will agree with Keri's comment 100%...got ignored while the 2 'employees' had a right old laugh behind the travel counters(???) Then when 2 other customers showed up, they deemed us eligible to serve!I felt I had to ask him if it was ok for me to send a parcel, but my sarcasm was lost on him. I would suggest rehiring and start again. I won't be using this branch anytime soon. Gross.
