Great location, very good room, was impressed to see plugs had USB ports so no need for plugs. Also has a car park but you need to pay and first come first served.Breakfast was standard travelodge buffet.Rooms: Comfortable, good size bathroom and USB ports to charge mobile.Walkability: With in minutes you will be walking beside the sea, also perfect location for the BIC.Food & drinks: Breakfast was buffet, we didn't have evening meal but they do offer this.

So pleasantly surprised by this. Room was spotless, they upgraded our room to a bigger one as we were celebrating a birthday and we had a young toddler. The hotel smelt clean as soon as you walk in. Manager was helping clearing tables and everyone was friendly. Breakfast buffet wasn?t amazing but as good as a buffet can be. Had a lovely view of the sea which was literally a stones throw away. Would deffo recommend for a budget hotel!!

You get what you pay for I suppose. Dated and tired but very clean. Staff very friendly and parking not too bad. Great for beach walking and walking to restaurants. Negatives - guests who stand at front door smoking, swearing and spitting as we were walking past them into the reception. Totally inexcusable, and intimidating. Poor staff member was unable to deal with it.Rooms: Dated and tired but cleanWalkability: Good for beach and town

I booked a room that had facilities for my disabled sister in December 2023. The room had a wet room which was acceptable. The room itself was large but had limited furniture in it. We had single beds at 30 inches wide which were only suitable for young children. There were no drawers, bedside cabinets or comfortable chairs. There were two office-like chairs which were totally inappropriate for a disabled person and very uncomfortable for any adult. The space to hang clothes was too high for a disabled person to reach, as was the shelf above. All our possessions had to be put on the floor which for a disabled person was a nightmare. The lack of a bedside cabinet made life even more difficult. There was a stench rising from the carpet beside the bed. Upon complaining we were told the carpet had been professionally cleaned 5 times already. Obviously needed replacing. We were unable to use the wet room facilities in the morning for other than essentials because the smell was overpowering. It had been raining all night and it would seem there was a problem with their sewerage system. When we complained about the problems we were told that the furniture would be the same in all the rooms. I would never stay again and certainly not with a disabed person. My sister had a dreadful stay, as did I. The only saving grace was that we had only booked for one night. We left as soon as we could.

Lovely hotel, with clean rooms, pleasant staff and great service. Definitely one to stay In close to town walking along the promenade. The only issue was the wifi which kept dropping out and needed numerous phone calls to tech

Not bad, but I think the other travelodge and similar hotels in this price range are more local to the town. It's near to the beach but not beachfront/sea view, but a 1 min walk away. The hotel is dog friendly which is our main reason for staying, and only charged £20 for the whole stay per dog. We travel with a giant dog and the room was plenty big enough for us all. However, the stairs gave a funny smell and generally the cleaning could have been a bit better. Maybe it's just old, but not the crispness you expect from a chain hotel. Our room was also on a pretty noisy stretch, so light sleepers would probably want to stay inside the hotel rather than on the road. Didn't affect our sleep at all though. Some staining to the bathroom ceiling and a shower curtain rather than door, but would probably request a bath next time if possible.Good points were that there's a restaurant on side (albeit not dog friendly) and bar so you can take food to your room.Parking wasn't an issue as we got a free space on the road, but in peak periods Parking could definitely be an issue - and expensive for a longer stay too!Something I found funny was the USB A chargers at the side of the bed. Although helpful, they often don't charge as fast, and many devices now use UBSC, meaning there are no suitable plugs by the bed; a 3 pin would have been much better.Generally not bad as a base, but I'd probably look to book an independent hotel next time - there's so much choice here, I think you could find a better quality and location for the price.Rooms: Basic, double bed with chair and desk. En suite shower room with toilet and sink. Good space-saving wardrobe, fan, bin and bottle opener. Also a TV, tea and coffee and a good amount of storage.Safety: Area felt reasonably safe although lots of people around at night and not sure on carpark security.Walkability: About 10 min walk from Bournemouth pier, back up a steep hill but has a lovely view. Not the closest hotel to the centre, not much around the hotel in terms of food or places to go.Noteworthy details: Dog friendly rooms, poor parking.

For £43 a night it was perfect. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and just a short walk into town. Parking is expensive and tight, but given the location and age, it's to be expected.Rooms: Clean, comfortable and well lit.Nearby activities: Bournemouth beach and town centre within a 10 minute walk.Walkability: On top of a hill, but that's Bournemouth. Good location.Food & drinks: Only used vending machine, but cafe looked decent enough in passing.

In a great position .Some rooms are spacious but most very basic.Comfortable beds.Bar area much too small and not at all cosy. Dining room can feel too crowded. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel is well located and the staff very welcoming. The room is large but very poorly insulated, the window is so old that the wind was lifting it, which meant it slammed all night. The hotel is well located and the staff very welcoming.
