“We stopped here for dinner today and had a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and the log fire burning made it a truly lovely place to eat and have a couple of drinks. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. We had a chicken burger, mixed grill and curry between us and they were all delicious. They were very accommodating of our two dogs too.”

All the staff, especially the chef Nathan, made it an evening to remember both in organising it beforehand and on the day. The food was amazing, comments were 'best steak ever', 'can I eat it again please', and as a vegetarian who is often disappointed, it could not have been a more delicious meal. The staff were friendly and attentive - I can't rate the whole experience highly enough.”
