My 1st visit to this pharmacy for my father found them extremely busy. The gentleman pharmacist was not flustered by the queue and served every patient with equal time making sure they were aware of their prescriptions and answered any questions. Very polite, friendly and helpful - all pharmacists should take a leaf out of their book!!thank you

Just been round to collect my elderly mothers blood pressure prescription which had been made up the day before, (and they'd texted me to say it was ready)Greeted at door to tell me the shop was closed and they couldn't give out any orders? (Whether already made up or not)Shut the door and waved as I left the car park.Unbelievable.

Went in for medication for my 16month old. Asked the pharmacist to explain what I?m supposed to do. She said ?follow the instructions in the box? was no help at all! I had to call the pharmacy and ask someone else for help as the instructions made no sense. Also needed syringes which the pharmacist didn?t give me or even ask if I needed them! So have to go back and grab some. Not happy with the service at all

I would like to thank the Staff of Boots Hadleigh Lodge for their help in procuring my medication which had been proving very difficult to get hold of. One gentleman that I spoke to on the telephone was particularly helpful. Many thanks.

This Pharmacy is nearly always very busy and sometimes there is a bit of a delay or wires can get crossed with prescriptions. However, I'd like to take a moment to point out how hard the staff work in this boots. Every time I go in there I'm in awe of how hard the staff work. I'd like to thank the staff for serving our community and for the tireless work they put in, making sure people have the medicine they need. In particular Peter, who I feel is an unsung hero. He has been a friendly face in the pharmacy for as long as I can remember, from before it was even a boots. He is always very knowledgeable (more than the GP at times!) And no matter how busy he is, he always takes the time to explain and answer any questions about your prescription. A big thank you to Peter and the rest of the staff ?

Went for my flu jab, only to be told when I got there they had cancelled it, due to not having enough vaccines. That's fine, but there was no communication to inform me of this, I was told the refund would "happen at some point, but no idea when or how". I was told they had one spare, but as she cancelled mine, they couldn't give it to me, as I wasn't on the system. Absolute waste of space and time!

This must be one of the slowest most understaffed pharmacies in BCP. The queues here are ridiculous, the staff seem to not care and will happily keep people waiting while they chat. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go somewhere else

Summary of a long message:Be prepared for a queue. Then all you need to experience a five star service is Patience, Empathy, Gratitude. These are very professional friendly staff, even tho they are clearly stretched as it is a very busy chemist. They are humans not machines. So if you are grumpy or critical, you might get a human response. They are trying their hardest to provide an excellent service. They won?t be getting paid well and will get demoralised and leave if they get over-demanding ness and negativity in return. Then the queue will get even longer! I am an ex-NHS doctor so I know how they feel. This is how to experience a five star service:Only come here if you are willing to queue. Allow plenty of time. Accept the wait. Make use of the free time, even enjoy the queue! Bring some admin, read a book, play on your phone, chat to people in the queue (without moaning about the queue!).If you struggle to stand, grab a chair and ask someone to hold your place in the queue. If you see someone who might be struggling, offer to hold their place while they sit. When you reach the counter, dont be afraid to show your empathy and gratitude: acknowledge that staff are busy and thank them for their hard work.Be grateful. ??If you are too stressed to do this, maybe consider changing your own lifestyle?? Or learn to accept it. Services are all massively overstretched at the moment, and it?s likely to get more so. So best for our own well-being and everyone around us if we all adapt to that fact. ??

Pitifully slow, wanting a week to dispense prescriptions. It seems to be a common issue with Boots; they take over all the local pharmacies but don't seem to be able to cope with the demand. This branch NEVER answer their phone, someone keeps lifting the receiver and replacing it. Corfe Mullen has a great GP Surgery, shame the same can't be said about Boots

Seen fast moving slugs than the staff here always a huge queue around the whole shop. Every person that gets served is told they need to wait 10 mins for their prescription or they don't have what they need. Truly awful place if they were not attached to the GP they wouldn't exist. I would rather drive to Asda to pick up my prescriptions as it would be quicker...

Dreadful service traveled all the way there to be told medicine wasn't in stock, they had the prescription for 5 days but told me they only received it a day ago. Very very slow service. Will be going elsewhere

Iv lived in corfe Mullen a long time & it?s always been the same! Even before the pandemic.Painfully slow service, rude staff. A few weeks ago I was give someone else?s repeat prescription slip! Which I took it back & they didn?t seem to care that is was a huge data breach. You wait in the queue for 45 minutes for them to tell you they don?t have what you need & will need to order in & it will be a few days!! When your child had a ear infection & needs it nowNone of the staff wear there mask properly but are insisting customers do. There?s no excuse for the pure incompetence at this pharmacy. Others village pharmacy like Lytchett cope perfectly well & with a smile. It?s the young guy his customers service is shocking.
