“Have stayed here on a number of occasions over a few years. The food and level of customer care are outstanding and has never faltered in my experience. Chef cooks seasonally from local ingredients which are very well sourced, he is extremely creative and dishes not only taste delicious but look amazing aswell. The front of house staff are extremely friendly and attentive, all in all the experience leaves me feeling extremely well looked after. Can't wait to visit again.”

“After seeing The Old Tea House on the TV, we thought we'd go for High Tea with 2 very good friends. It was a fabulous experience and Debbie is even better in person. It is a family run business with Debbie's son doing the cooking and her Grandson helping as a waiter.”

“I can't comment on the rooms as we only went for the Sunday carvery. The pub itself was Lovely. Very clean and tidy with lots of space around each table. The food was well cooked, hot and delicious just one little moan........I do like stuffing with my Pork ?”

“Phil and Tom are the most helpful and pleasant people I have ever bought furniture off!After an initial thought to get a corner sofa bed we dropped that idea after struggling to find one with the right style and comfort so we decided to re-visit this place where we bought some gorgeous wall lamps last month.We were not disappointed, we soon honed in on the perfect sofa and with the help of Tom's styling eye and Phil's attention to detail we left happy with the perfect addition to our cottage.Cant fault these guys, even the coffee was well made!We will be back and spending more money with them, they deserve all the success they get.”

“We booked x2 houses to stay in over the period that we were getting married, in order for the Bridal Party to get ready/a mini-moon after our wedding itself. Both houses (Avalon & Skyfall) were immaculately presented, clean and comfortable. The Estate itself is beautiful, with attentive and professional staff, who were genuinely excited for our occasion and went to every length to ensure we were accommodated. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend a stay here. A visit to the Hurricane Spa (onsite) is also a must, with out of this world treatments, thank you Jo and Hannah!”

“One of the only EV charging points in the area with a very good place to rest and eat while charging. We stopped twice in three days. If more places like this install chargers then it is bound to bring in extra business.Vegetarian options: I chose the burger and rate is as exceptional.”

“Stayed for one night but wish it was longer. Can't Big this pub/Hotel up enough. Its a gem in the Dorset Crown. Staff were fantastic. Had a meal on evening in restaurant. Food was amazing. And some great brews on tap. Was great that they are dog friendly. Staff made a fuss of are dog pebbles. Lady serving at Breakfast was fantastic .would definitely recommend to anybody taking there dog on holiday there. Thank you to all the staff for making are stay great. Will definitely be back. “We visited here after searching all the big chains for our perfect sofa, we had no luck no matter the price in finding it until arriving here. We were very well looked after by Jonathan who offered us a choice of drinks. He helped us go over measurements and the different options. He was very patient. Feel better shopping local too! Will be using here again! Can 100% recommend.”
