Enjoyed the mushrooms on toast, but would have preferred field mushrooms as the shitaki type were a little chewy. Nice chap

Called in this morning with a few friends, friendly place good staff highly recommend.

Food that was full of flavour and huge portion too. Stopped here on our way back to sussex and was so pleased we did. The staff were friendly and catered to people's needs. If I'm ever passing again I will be sure to go back.

Spacious yet cosy, The Engine Room is set in a converted brick barn that once housed farm machinery and engines, making it the ideal spot to meet friends and family in the centre of Poundbury.
As well as its comprehensive breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea menus with local and seasonal produce at their core, The Engine Room Restaurant also caters for private functions.
