I took my son to drop off donations today, aiming to teach him the value of helping with unused clothes donations. He chose the British Heart Foundation, but the experience was nerve-racking. When asked if I was registered, I mentioned I usually donate to Oxfam or Dog Trust, and the response was quite rude. I won't be donating here again; perhaps my initial choice of other shops was right after all.

Terrible prices i dont know what theyre thinking on some of those productsEdit:Im unsure where their prices and their so called training comes from. I have found so many overprices items of music and clothing which i can easily buy from local outlets or music shops (one cd was 35 pounds which cost 6 in hmv up the street)

Had a great jacket which I didn't buy. My friend (accidentally, I should add) smashed a £30 snowglobe the week before Christmas. Nice variety of well-worn blazers, literally all the same. Multiple hats, also all the same, including size. Lovely staff, all two of them.

People working or shopping here are inadvertently funding horrific & unnecessary experiments on helpless animals in the name of medical research - this organisation seriously needs to look at its ethical policy and start investing in modern and more meaningful methods such as those being used by the FRAME Alternatives Laboratory in Nottingham instead of fundung pointless, barbaric experiments that belong in the dark ages.
