“Oh it looks like after a year Superdrugs is supplying *Frizz Ease Heat Defeat Protection Spray* Now. I hope this continues! This product has been an essential part of my hair products and have Not been able to find out why they were Not supplying it! Also many of the items have gone up. Palmers Lotion for example £5.00 to £6.00! Why?! And in smaller bottles?? We need good size bottles of lotion at a reasonable price! I refuse to buy it at these prices! However, on the other hand, I must mention that this store does offer many things one may need and things I like and at least we can save our points on our cards and have them honoured unlike Boots! Their prices are good on various things as well. Looking out for our community and we are glad to have Superdrugs in our community but do not understand why it takes so long to get to the bottom of issues but at least it looks like it is!”

“The day we went there, workmen were repairing a broken glass pane on the stairs, it was safety glass and had shattered into many pieces, care was taken to keep the public safe. I also noticed they had a section, which was advertising Laura Ashley. The young girls working there are always pleasant and helpful. Didn't see any young men.”

Having been in this industry myself, I know this can be a challenging task. The challenges arise when people think you're a genie and absolutely have to do it their way. Or perhaps, don't understand that rules are rules and have to be followed - no matter how loud they scream or have a tantrum. So I always do my best to make sure not to ruin someones day, over something they can't control. Because let's face it, who wants to serve and do the best for someone being rude ? I can tell you, I never did. I helped the nice person first. The rude people where popped till last. But that's me.I gave you this insight because it brings me to the review. I had just purchased a tablet and the pen nib gave way. Called up manufacturers and they said go back. Here I came to meet the staff and a manager who took me under their wing from the first issue (the pen nib - to the second issue - screen burn - through to the last issue - malfunctioning application. ) First off the staff were friendly and happy people from the get go. Craig the manager was clear and professional. Honestly, he's why I'm here writing the review. It's been a long time since I've walked into a place and felt like a person that's valued. He was so kind. Helped at every opportunity and explained how to do what I needed to do. Not being overly technical, he spent time with me transferring my data - so helpful! I just appreciate him and his team so much.Argos is lucky to have this man working for them. I highly recommend this place. I will return to this particular store because it just feels like home. If I could nominate Craig for manager of the year I would!!Thank you again, Craig, for helping this old lady out, and being so tremendously kind to me. I appreciate you and your lovely staff. ?”

“Quite a small sports direct store in the Dolphin Centre. Despite the store being quite small, it still serves its purpose. It has a range of trainers, sports wear, sports items and (of course) large bags at the till. I still don't understand why they sell board games here as that has nothing to do with sport. They also sell perfumes and school stationery here for some reason. Apart from that, it is quite a good store. Will be coming back.”
