I had to go to pick up an item, so decided to try out the cafe first for a coffee, really, just to see how true the reviews were. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, despite being packed, late saturday afternoon. True, I've had better coffee, but it was service with a smile, the cafe was clean and the cake was fresh and delicious, so no complaints here. Just wondering what the complainers wanted?

I used to take my grandma here for coffee before covid. She really enjoyed the friendly staff and the varieties of coffee they offered.

Selecting curtains can be daunting. I?m not surprised when you start realising just how much there is to consider so we?re very pleased we went to John Lewis, Poole.You want to know you are in the hands of people that know what they are talking about, and not just sales speak we felt with Nigel and Tracey. You also want to know there is a substantial company backing them with reputation they want to protect. Our experience so far is that they are helpful, on top of everything that is going on, even when we changed our mind mid order. They have kept us informed throughout the whole process.I suspect companies supplying John Lewis are selected for good design, using quality materials at value for money price ranges.So selecting what you like the look off is just the start of the journey. Will ready made work or do you need or want made to measure curtains? Is it right the material for the environment you?re using them in? Are they available in dimensions that work with your windows? And many, many other factors to consider, not least cost, advising where you can save money by doing something in a different way.

Very happy with recent visit to buy a mobile phone and watch. The sales assistant was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to be helpful. We got exactly what we wanted to buy and nothing was too much trouble. Extremely satisfied.

Don't get me wrong shop is lovely & big with lots of variety, however unless you want to be followed around quite obviously my a young male manager, then I would avoid. Made me feel like a criminal for browsing for my sisters birthday, never in my life have I stolen anything or been in trouble with the law, let's just say they have a bad case of judging books by there covers. It was that obvious everywhere I turned around he was there and he even followed me to the door and stood there after I left. I took my money elsewhere out of principle. What happened to equal rights.

Went for something to eat not very nice wanted toasty tuna no cheese said they would not do without cheese. Very nasty. husband cannot take dairy produce had to leave without anything to eat

Just wanted to post what a pleasant and helpful lady Dawn is in the restaurant. All the time I've been in for scone and coffee and not once was I told they did a cream tea deal! . So added bonus I had clotted cream today too. Shame the others have never offered me the cream tea deal. Well done Dawn. Thank you ???

The young girl on the till didn't speak once. No hello, thank you or anything. How's that for customer service for John Lewis. Then the lemon drissle cake was last slice. Big regret as totally stale. Shame on you John Lewis

Just wanted to say how outstanding 2 members of staff at your Poole branch were over the weekend. Jo Grimwade -Newton and Pauline who both went 'above and beyond' to locate a silver pitcher we wanted to buy but was out of stock in store and also online. They located it in another store and ensured we were contacted and able to have the item sent to our home address. Thanks to both - they were brilliant.
