It's a lovely bank,despite everyone moaning.It's the digital age folks,people don't handle cash now as they did before.Bank staff handle cash..hence no staff needed in all Banks.They'll all be gone eventually,same as the busy high streets we grew up with.Blame convenience ??

Always only one person on counter duty,despite often several waiting.This also applies to Bournmouth branch, Natwest seems to have forgotten customer service, and cut cost.I am in fact a Royal Bank of Scotland customer,now part of Natwest,When the Poole branch of R B S was closed the rot seemed to set in.

Eventually got through on telephone ..female answered and ended the call immediately!!!
Second attempt ....extremely polite and helpful man (Lewis) answered - immediately resolved the problem also sending details thro' post for easier 'on line banking' thank you Lewis***

Absolutely brilliant service given by customer service officer Bev, the pay in machine was playing up, she came to the rescue, no waiting just excellent results, thanks nat west for bev x ? brilliant service, thoroughly recommend this place.

I used the Poole branch today and was amazed how poorly a bank like this is being run , people are sat around waiting to be seen , what a joke , while one person sees them individually, we are customers and expect more service than this , I left shocked , so many other customers at the same time were disgruntled with the system in place , shape up NatWest !!!

I have been a customer of NatWest in Poole for 30 yrs and the disintegration regard customer service I have seen over the last few years has been a disgrace . All the staff are interested in is pushing you towards the machines and away from the counter . On many occasions when I have used the machines they have gone wrong especially when you are depositing lots of cash . When you choose to go to the counter there is always a long wait as they only now have one person working behind the counter . On my visit today I asked one of the staff why is this as Halifax over the road always have 3 people working at the counter she said HSBC don?t they just use the machines , well I don?t bank with HSBC but I probably am now going to change my current and business accounts to Halifax . NatWest have forgotten their customers.

sorry but i checked this morning to see what NatWest banks were open today Saturday 10/04/21 your web site said 9.30 till 1 in poole high street, so i traveled down there paid for parking only to find out that your closed yet your web site is still saying your opens traveled to Broadstone to pay in a cheque through your cash point only to fined out you haven't even got that facility on your atm. very poor service

The worst Bank in UK.The worst customer service ever!After waiting 2 hours in the queue, the cashier still NOT finished serving the same customer since I arrived at this NatWest bank queue for cashier/counter service.Absolute disgrace.I am closing my account.Not recommended whatsoever.

Worst bank I ever dealt with. Waiting two weeks for replacement bank card, 3 weeks for ongoing complaint to be settled, and waited ONE HOUR in branch for the complaint to be sorted.. All they compensated me with was £30 for inconveince after 31 years of banking with them - what an insult. Others customers waiting up to 30 minutes to be seen. No apologies from the bank to those customers either. Since moved to another bank.

As others have commented, only 1 person at the welcome desk with little to no customer service skills. Very short in responses, running around like a headless chicken because they are clearly understaffed. I had to wait over 40 minutes to close my accounts, just to be told you can only close a credit card account over the phone - which I could have done whilst I waited. There were 8 people waiting to be seen by 1 gentleman behind the privacy screens. This is a similar experience every time I have visited this branch. Broadstone are far quicker, more friendly and more competent.
